I bought this curling iron to do my hair for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in. It curled my hair, but the curls all basically fell out by the time I got to the wedding location not even an hour later. I had to completely redo my hair with my friend’s T3 wand which was amazing and my hair held the curls for days afterwards. I would imagine that the problem with this curling iron is that it doesn’t get hot enough (less than 400) and you cannot adjust the temperature. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me. I returned it and will be getting the T3 wand instead.

I got this curling iron as a gift for my girlfriend since her old one was on its last leg. She likes doing those big, soft curls and this one looked fancy enough without being over the top. It’s got a thicker barrel, so it’s better for longer hair or if you want that loose wave kind of style. She tried it out right away and said it heats up quick and doesn’t fry her hair like some others she’s used. The curls actually stay in, which I guess is a big deal—especially since her hair usually goes flat in like an hour. It’s got a smooth finish too, so her hair doesn’t snag or get weird dents. Couple little things though. It doesn’t have a clamp that holds the hair tight, so if you’re not used to that, it might take a minute to figure out. Also, there’s no temp control—just one setting—so if you’ve got really fine hair, that might be a bit much. She was cool with it, but not everyone might be. Overall, she seems happy with it. It’s not the cheapest thing out there, but she said it works better than a lot of the other ones she’s tried. Her hair looks good, and I didn’t have to pretend I know how curling irons work—so I’d say that’s a win.

My cousin talked me into buying one of these. Shes a hairdresser. Its an understatement to say she is a master of her trade. When she curls my hair with this iron, it genuinely comes out incredible. Beautiful, voluminous curls that last for days. She doesn't even use hairspray, just texture spray. When used right, this curling iron really gives you unique curls. I bought one for myself and honestly, if I had no idea what this iron was really capable of, I would say this is an overpriced POS. Its not- but I genuinely can't get the hang of it. I tried. The curls wont hold longer than 5 minutes. Couldn't figure out the right technique. Couldn't stop burning myself. I tried a few youtube videos. I think ill just stick with my $40 wand that burns the crap out of my hair. I look forward to the next time my cousin curls my hair with this iron, but I am all set with using it on my own.
