I got the white one and was a bit concerned about my hair color coming off on it and it has not been an issue. I have very very thick coarse curly hair. I have tried every machine and hair product out there (well almost) I am constantly on hunt the best flat iron. This one although expensive is worth it. It heats up quickly and get the Job done! For the girls with curly roots you know how important is ito be able to get the top silky and smooth. And this flat iron does it! I am very familiar with GHD products, overall quality is amazing. The straightener heats up extremely fast and gets really hot. The plates are really smooth and my hair glide right through without any issues. I don’t like the lack of setting/adjustability but I do like that the buttons are out-of-the-way, so that when I am using the straightener, I’m not accidentally hitting buttons like I do with my other straightener. I have a 40 dollar straightener that is better. There are a few good things about this i wish my other straightener had. One thing is that heats up super quick like within a minute. Other thing was a cool sound it had on it. I dont like the way it makes my hair frizzy.
