Gevi Household V2.0 Countertop Gemi Nugget Ice Maker - this machine is gorgeous. It fits perfectly on our countertop right underneath the upper cabinets. It's sleek design fits right in with our traditional kitchen. Love the door on the front which also serves as a tray for the ice container. This is a cleaner design than other brands we have tried in the past; with no water drops on the counter. The ice maker is easy to fill, and this is great - as we go through a lot of ice. It makes ice quickly and is quiet. The ice is crunchy and the perfect consistency. We love it! We did need to contact customer service due to a loud noise which started early on, and the Gevi Customer Support has been phenomenal to work with.     • This machine WAS a boss
UPDATE 2: After reaching out to the manufacture multiple times via email and the chat on their app no response was ever given. Amazon even tried to reach them and had no luck. Based on my experience I do NOT recommend buying anything from Gevi. UPDATE: bought this less than two months ago and it randomly started screaming at me when trying to make ice. Did all the things (defrosted, cleaned) nothing works. Now having to contact customer service and hope they are a good company! Had this for roughly a week now and it has been amazing! Followed all the set up instructions and it makes ice like a champ! It has run almost nonstop after opening and it performs so well! It is super quiet, sleek, fits on the counter top perfectly and the little cubes are pretty firm! It holds ice well inside the machine and it only cuts off when it’s out of water or the bucket is full. It’s hard not to chew on ice all day long! I don’t know how I lived with out this machine before now! ... show more

I’ve been using this more several months now. It produces fantastic “Sonic” ice. We fill a few gallon ziplock freezer bags at a time to have extra on hand all the time. But honestly the ice is best coming straight out of the machine when it’s pretty soft and easy to chew. It’s a game changer. We purchased the white color. Since it stays out on our countertops, the white blends more naturally next to our white cabinets. Glad they had an option of white, black or stainless to fit personal preferences. You will hear it running but it’s truly not loud at all, maybe a pinch more noticeable than the dishwasher running. I read lots of reviews different models and people talking about how loud some models were. That has not been my experience at all. I did purchase an extended warranty since countertop ice makers haven’t been around long. There was a pretty significant coupon on this model on Amazon when I purchased so I used that to justify getting the warranty - it’s nice piece of mind, imo. Lastly, make sure to double check measurements! It’s a pretty large unit. There were other models that were slightly too tall to fit under my cabinets. This model fits with room to spare and I believe the manufacturer recommends 6” clearance on each side for proper ventilation, which you will definitely want to adhere to. Finally always used a filtered water to prolong the life of the machine. Go ahead and buy some descaling solution for regular cleaning maintenance. It’s an investment in an appliance and once you are spoiled with “Sonic” ice at home everyday, you will want to make sure your machine is well taken care of.     • The perfect ice!
This nugget ice maker makes the most perfect ice. This ice makes my mornings with iced coffee better. I know it sounds crazy but nugget ice just tastes better!! Sometimes I just eat this ice. I love this machine. It’s so modern so sleek. It’s truly a very pretty ice maker. It’s definitely not loud. It’s an ice maker so it does make noise. My favorite thing about this is it doesn’t constantly make ice stuck in a loop, running up your electric bill. For example, I fill it half way with water because I don’t need a lot of ice (I just need enough for me) and it makes ice continually until the water runs out. But after all the ice melts and turns into water again, it will wait until you open the door which has a magnetic switch that triggers water level detection and begins making ice again. This works perfectly for me because I don’t need it to constantly be in the ice making loop. ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY WORST COMPANY EVER
Update: Worst company.. org brought Gevi ice machine in Oct 2023 and after back and forth Gevi replaced my non working ice machine in November 2023 (didn't even made it a month before it stop working).. I have always deep cleaned my ice machine, clean the tubes everything.. Fast forward to 6 months later now in May 2024 - color me shock when my machine started making a loud screeching noise like it was going to blow up, it was bad. My husband decided to opened the machine to see what was happening only to find the most disgusting machine ever.. its looks like they sent me a refurbished ice machine that wasnt put together nicely. Now I am stuck with a machine that I paid well over $300.00 for that is not working properly.. I now have to pull the machine apart to clean all the coils and the nasty crap around the pump and every were else... they are no help. I dont want to deal with this company anymore. I wish ai never brought this machine and go another mage a GE at least their customer service is better and their machines. ************* I bought this nugget ice machine on sale because I have heard nothing by praises but 11 days into have the machine it suddenly stop working. The Gevi machine was getting no power to the machine. My only option was either refund or reach out to the company to see if they can replace the machine. I decided to reach out to Gevi (mine you only form of communication is via email). 2 weeks later i reach out asking for an update and was given a UPS tracking number stating that the machine would be ship... its now 7 days and from the UPS tracking number they provided nothing have been updated.
