This is not a great tool. The wire cable constantly gets stuck behind the clip that is suppose to contain wire from unraveling outside rachett.. the wire gets out and then binds the rachett so it doesnt work...it is pinched I have had to take it apart three(3) times to unstick wire (thats not counting the times i could unstick it by prying cable with screw driver... Not the greatest ... i have used it for just one project. . I wouldnt count on this in a pinch

This winch is rated for 2 tons but struggled to hold 500lbs. The gears were sloppy and the catch spring wouldn't engage causing the load to slip.

When used it on the first time cable broke at the connector. I am returning it and even had to use pieces to get my project completed. Please the is garbage avoidance is the best option

Horrible quality. Ordered two. First one cable was wrapped on the spool such that you couldn’t get it to feed any cable. The second one the release pawl wouldn’t release. Had to basically disassemble the unit under tension. I really try to avoid Chinese stuff. This completely re-enforced staying away from Chinese made products. Truly can’t get over how crappy these were.
