This is basically a novelty. Won't actually provide much protection. It's thin plastic with about the same amount of foam you would find in a kids bike helmet. It is lightweight and stylish and would keep you legal for helmet laws.

This helmets flared out bottom gives me a little extra protection from the sun. It is the most comfortable and best ventilated helmet I have ever owned. The quick fasten and release strap makes it the easiest to put on and take off! I am Very happy with my purchase!
