My bench press was stuck at 205 lbs with a 1RM of 215 lbs. All I ever wanted to do is to be able to bench 225 lbs without a spotter. I have always been a "hard gainer" and 225 lbs may be easy for many people, but i always had a hard time with it. The 2 plates on each side was both a physical and mental barrier for me for many years. I am 5'8" and until 2 months ago I would normally weigh between 149-152 lbs. I started taking German Creatine about six weeks ago and now I can bench 225 lbs 4 times before needing a spotter. This stuff is pretty amazing. It helped me to put on some muscle mass as now I weigh about 159.5 consistently. The best part is that I turned 37 this year. I thought I might have been getting weaker since turning 35 and it certainly felt that way with no supplements of any sort. I now have the German Creatine and a protein powder. Now I can lift heavier now than I ever did before. Thanks German Creatine! When I started on the German Creatine, I did a loading phase but I agree with the other reviewers who say it is not necessary. I do not use it on rest days as well. The other day, I did not use it and was still able to bench 225 lbs 4 reps. Now I take it as necessary. When I want to lift heavy weights, I will take 15 grams (3 scoops) about 30 minutes before I go to the gym. Well, it changes you and by deductions changes your life. Anyways, gave this thing a go for sometime now. Well over a two years. I believe it was once attributed to some headaches I was having, but I’m pretty lazy with hydration. Could be that this stuff isn’t anymore special than other creatines, or may not even be German, researched well, or manufactured cleanly, but it does the job. Gained more than 30 pounds over just a year and a half, dropped fat and gained muscle. Craziest part is that this has been my only consistent supplement (because I bought such big supply of it) Helps regulate sleep if you take it in the morning (or at least it dampens the effects of sleep deprivation) This has been one of the most beneficial features. Went from a skinny-fat 165lbs dweeb to a full and solid 200lbs. Even joined rugby and am pretty effective. ... show more
