As I've aged, the skin on my arms has gotten thin, and I tend to get cut easily. This happened a lot while doing yardwork and left my arms full of cuts and under-skin bleeding. The skin protector worked quite well, and so far, I have not suffered this problem again. My only complaint is that it's billed as an "elderly" skin protector. Stocking over night your arms take some abuse; not with these sleeves. Significantly reduce cuts and bruising with these arm sleeve protectors. Thumb hole doesn’t hold up after a week but not bad at all
