I have three of these actually. I bought the first one on ebay, Camo for hunting. It worked really well out in the woods in pretty harsh conditions. So I bought the blue version that I could wear more regularly. I've had that one for a few years and it's gotten stained. So I just bought the black one. Love them all. A few notes: 1. There are some very minor reflective elements of the vest that I would prefer not be there. 2. The battery life is pretty good. On full heat you're going to get about 1-2 hours of use. On it's lowest setting you'll get 4 solid hours no problem. But full heat is hot. For most days less dramatic cold, you'll be able to use a lower setting. 3. Buy an extra battery. Because I wear it constantly in the northeast during winter months, I always carry two with me and that usually gets me through any outing without issue. 4. Heat is pretty evenly distributed around the vest but it has heated zones/areas vs. the whole thing heating up. 5. Customer service is outstanding. The wiring harness in my second vest broke after heavy use several years after I had purchased it. I wrote to the company and they fixed the jacket perfectly for no charge. 6. It's water/wind resistant and actually pretty warm without the heat even on. ... show more
