Description

Men are constantly looking for work boots that have great durability but are still comfortable to wear. This 8" Georgia Logger's upper was crafted with full-grain leather; it has a strong-looking black hue, while the material has superb hardiness, it is also outstandingly soft. This men's work boot has a lace-up design, this is great because it allows you to adjust the fit. Don't worry about the stud hooks being yanked out while you're working, they have been attached to steel washers. When you need to get the job done, you need the help of this Georgia Boot lace-up. Its lugged, oil-resistant outsole and ANSI-compliant safety toe help protect every step while pliable leather and a cushioned insole provide all-day comfort. P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Every item - right down to the last hard-working detail - can be traced back to 1937 when our passion for footwear was born. It started with a tough farm boot and a simple belief that boots should work as hard as the people wearing them.Thousands of style See more

  • SOLID boots. Real goodyear welt.
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Black
I'm hard on shoes. These things are legit. Tried to kill them and they've lasted almost a year already and still going strong, managed to bend an eyelet but otherwise these have been singularly the best shoes I have ever owned. Solid.

  • Haven’t fallen apart despite constant abuse
Size: 11 Color: Black
Better than most budget boots these days. I’m going on 7 months of wearing these boots almost every single day. The soles have almost no tread left but yet they are still hanging on without signs of coming apart from the boot. I like that they’re screwed on and the boots themselves have withstood diesel and hydraulic oil several times. Comfortable enough that I don’t rush to get them off as soon as I get home. I would consider getting them re soled if the price was any different from buying another pair. Will be buying another pair. ... show more

  • Surprisingly Comfortable
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Black
Well these were an emergency purchase (needed boots now as opposed to later, the case with the better boots). I am a Forester and basically spend every workday on my feet in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and almost never on a trail. In case your imagination is failing you, this is hard on boots. I had low expectations for these boots given their low price and country of origin; but I was very surprised by their comfort level (that's with my feet, more than a little like Fred Flintstone's). Comfort aside they started leaking dust on the third week. When I get around to it (the better boots made their appearance -- finally) I'll give them a new coat of Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative and see if that seals them up again in which case these will make a serviceable occasional duty boot. Decent ankle support, and good traction on dry surfaces. Like most boots without caulks don't try to walk on downed trees with skinned off bark and be careful of other wet surfaces. I have no qualms recommending these as a lower cost light duty field boot, not really for hard use. As an added bonus they are actually pretty good looking for a logger style boot. Update 10/19/2020: Well, shortly after I got the better boots I got them completely covered in poison oak and being both busy and somewhat lazy I have yet to clean those boots, so I busted these back out. The Leather preservative did indeed plug up the dust leaks (right where the rivets are at the base of the tongue). They have held up well for most of the summer and fall (so far) field season, still comfortable and have held up to all of the naturally occurring "pungee" sticks and rock abrasions, A couple of the eyes are a little rough and have worn through the laces, but that's an easy and cheap fix. Very pleased for the price. Need to clean them up again and reapply the Obenauf's before wet weather shows up. Still think these are a very good choice for light/occasional duty. upping by one star. ... show more

  • Not as good as Georgia used to be, but good leather
**4 MO UPDATE** Stitching broke, sole was worn down and they never fully broke in (pretty close though). The leather was fine, but the stitching just starting coming off the heal. Luckily amazon is an amazing company and took them back! I couldn't believe it! THANK YOU AMAZON! That was the last pair of Georgia boots I will ever buy in my life. Moved over to Ariat and am very pleased. **1 MO UPDATE** It's now been over a month. Breaking the boots in was hell, no if's and's or but's about it. I walk 30 (yes 30) miles or so a week in these boots. It took 2.5 weeks to break them in. that is about 75mi (yes 75) to break them in. I ran through the better half of two pair of boot socks and have 5 wear spots on the front of me feet. But SOB I got 'em broke in, I wasn't about to give up on them. I've never had more than a 2-3 day break in before, so this was shocking for me. Anyhow, after that nonsense, I can say the boots are here to last. The leather is forming real nice to my feet and the stitching is holding fine. The sole is a bit weak and will probably have to be replaced within 6-8 months. That isn't too unexpected though, as I use my chevrolegs quite a bit. ------------------------------- Well, I got these Friday and it is now Tuesday. The boots lack the finesse of a higher end construction. On top they look good, but when you flip the boot upside down, the screws and nails are not all lined up and orderly (they used to be, in older boots). The leather is real nice, but is solid as a rock. This has been the toughest pair of boots to break in I have ever had; I thought my toe was broken Saturday. The stitching is ok, not great, not bad. The laces are cheap, but I always replace my laces with para-cord immediately anyhow. The outsole seems a bit soft, but is silent and sturdy. Overall so far, they are worth the price, but they are insanely tough to break in. I'd recommend them for a cheaper work boot as of now - will update later too. ... show more
