This fan is way better than the Lasko fan I already had. This fan blows icy cool air not warm air around. It actually made the temperature in my room drop 2 degrees. I am definitely considering buying another one at some point. It is very quiet and it sits more solidly without moving than the Lasko fan does. This fan is a real workhorse! I wanted a no-frills, no lights, no annoying beeping sounds analog fan for my bedroom. Just an old fashioned, simple box fan that I can run all night. I live in a busy street and any car door slam at night wakes my big barking dog and it’s a nightmare!! I could never sleep with my windows open and enjoy that free cool air!! I put this in my open window (like ppl did in the 80’s!!) and my bed room is super cool, and the noise drowns out anything outside, including amateur grade OTC fireworks down the street! Only downfall- i wish it filled the whole open window- for privacy purposes. There’s about a 2-3 inch gap around the fan on either side- which COULD allow someone to see into your home with lights on at night. ... show more

I love this fan because I need to have this sound for sleeping. Every fan nowadays is whisper quiet, but that doesn't work when you love the sound. I keep this in my bedroom on high year round. Not as powerful as other box fans but also quieter than other box fans. I can actually stand to have it running 24/7, unlike other box fans. Thus I recommend it.

A lot more fan than the cheaper ones. More air, quieter, and more substantial. Very stable. Great idea for the feet. They swivel out of the way if needed.

    • DO NOT BOTHER BUYING
This is the worst fan to get if you have pets and use it to keep cool during summer, it blow nice when it completely clean but like in 2-4 day, it gets so dirty so fast and loses the airflow fast as the grills( both front and backs) are small spaces that it gets clog with dust and fur super fast. Now as for cleaning, it is not even easy to clean as it not easy to take apart since there is barely any instruction on how to take a apart. In the manual guide that is provided on here this is what is say "1. Be sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning. 2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge. Thoroughly to remove soap film with clean water. 3. Be sure not to make water or other liquid enter inside of motor". As you can see it does not provide information on how to take apart for cleaning. I have been trying to take it apart for around 30-60 mins. the only thing i manage to do was unscrew the only screw that at the bottom after that, i had assume you just slide the grill out from the bottom but it would not move. Hell I tried using alot of force that it feels like im about to break it. Honestly im just gonna just go ahead and just break the damn thing because of how bad this is. the fact the it get clog super fast that I would have to clean every 3 day just to have a decent airflow is not worth the trouble trying to take it apart and not worth the money. i would have return it if i had the extra money to imminently replace this fan with something else but when i bought during summer, i could not wait long for the refund and would take about a week or so because I needed a fan as I overheat easy and dont have an ac to use to cool down and wont have extra money for another 40 days after buying this. I would have just gotten a fan from walmart for around $15 which has so much better airflow then this and easier to take apart despite there would be 4 screws to unscrew. the reason I bought this cause i thought it would be soo much better airflow than the fan you can buy from walmart, thinking it would be an upgrade. Nope was so damn wrong it was a downgrade that costed $30. such a waste of money and time ... show more
