Over all the picks are durable enough to learn with and comfortable and easy enough to not be unusable like other pick sets i’ve had. For $26 they are a great value although the practice locks they provide are next to useless, weak mushy pins that are mostly already set above the sheer line. I understand some are supposed to be easy but the hardest one doesn’t even lock! Though I’m sure that is inconsistent amongst different packages. Overall review, great to learn with the picks and then upgrade later. I would just suggest using some locks you have lying around instead of the provided ones. ... show more

I am brand new to the lockpicking hobby and needed a clear lock to associate what I was feeling to something I could see. This set could not have been more helpful! I have progressed tremendously thanks to these. Some people have said that the locks were cheap, and broke easily, but that is not the case for me. I also received the black covers that others said they didn't. I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn how to pick locks. The tools are also working for me perfectly. I purchase this to gain access to a file cabinet. I got it to work once. I do not know much about lock picking and I dod not want to spend a lot so I got a kit which gave me a lot of options. I do not know if the pick material is any good or not. They seem to be more on the flimsy side. The instructions are horrible. I was not successful picking any of the practice locks it came with. If I had to, I would get a more professional lock pick set. I would recommend the kit to someone that wants to practice. ... show more

Within 12 hours of receiving this kit, two of the three practice locks broke. The lock picks seem….ok but overall I am really disappointed

    • Picks are nice lock are smarter then me
They pick set works great but the practice locks are hilarious I cannot unlock them as of yet...LOL but they work great on house locks, car locks and so on.... no regrets good product

The kit does not come with covers for the locks, but the locks are decent quality, and the picks are fine. They work, though they're rough on the hands and the lock. I will be getting some better ones. The clear lock was so valuable for learning how to pick. Anyone who says it isn't helpful is wrong. ... show more

for a cheap lock pick set it isn't bad at all but the one problem is the padlock is almost impossible to pick with the included picks, but that is the only issue is comes with a cool holder for the picks and has instructions on how to get started.
