Lock is so cheap. Even when the dials are perfectly align, it's a nightmare to open. It's very small, and the tiny amount of metal that holds it in place could probably just be pulled out with a metal rod or something. I ended up having to cut the metal wire as the lock just wouldn't open any more.

These are pretty decent quality, but easily defeated. I would not use them for anything valuable as anybody who wanted to get one open could. But useful to keep the kids out and to keep honest people honest.

Don't try and see how to set the code unless you are paying attention. I had to "crack the lock" if you do lock it and can't figure out your code look for the notches in the disc on each number. Pretty simple to adjust and use. Works great and survive multiple storms so far. Perfect for locking trash cans to keep people from dumping their trash in(sad world we live in right). ... show more
