As in the title, works as intended and was east to set up and use. There was a handy instruction sheet that came with the lock. I used this to go through the chamber of my rifle while flying with it so that the airline personnel could visually see that the chamber was clear. I have no doubt that if a criminal wanted to remove this, they certainly could get through it without serious tools, but I don't think that is the intent of this device. It would certainly keep a relatively umotivated child from being able to operate a gun. Maybe a nice redundancy for guns in a safe. ... show more

The only downfall in my opinion is there's nothing that clearly marks which side is the front. I got this to lock a paint cabinet at my work. We have multiple employees that open and close the case for customers. Without anything identifying the front, we keep having people put the lock back on backwards and then can't get it open because the code shows on both sides. ... show more

You can grab the cable and actually pull it apart and it breaks the housing of the lock mechanism itself and opens the lock it would be more of a visual deterrent than an actual security item... ... show more
