This set is very nice and extremely soft. It’s been through the wash a few times and is holding up well. Taking one star off because it is a little expensive compared to similar quality sheet sets.

I have the 1000 thread count sheets from Thread Spread as well and was happy with those, so decided to give these a try. They are both excellent and honestly almost indistinguishable except for the elastic band. Both have a nice subtle sheen when smooth, but there's a little more with these. Both feel smooth with a bit of texture, rather than a truly silky feel (I don't use fabric softener and don't have soft water, so your results may vary). They still both feel high quality and are my favorite sheet sets. The elastic band material on the 1500tc is actually similar to the waistband on some boxers, and fits my mattress well. It's better than the 1000tc band. The 1500tc does have a little extra room for a tall mattress vs the 1000tc, while still fitting tightly. Is the 1500tc worth the extra $$$ over the 1000? At a roughly 50% upcharge over the 1000tc, I don't know that these are worth the extra cost. However, they are tangibly better than the 1000tc, so if you want the best they offer, these are it. I'm happy with my set and will continue to order Thread Spread sheets in one capacity or another. ... show more

Very disappointed. Very unexpected thickness for a fabric of 1500 count Egyptian Cotton. Very heavy. Very, very wrinkled after drying on low heat. Expected much nicer sheets. Not buying again.
