We installed the unit very easily and it is functioning perfectly. It does take a few minutes for the water to get hot, but you will never run out of hot water as long as you have propane. The unit shuts off immediately after you turn off the faucet. I’m sure you will save gas and $$$.

Bought this for instant hot water at our Kitchen Sink. Installation was straight forward and uncomplicated. So far it has performed nicely, it seems well designed and built and the water temperature control loop works well at sink flow gpm. I expect to get years of service out of this device so time will tell if a 5 Star Rating is deserved.

I recently had a cold come through my area and freeze my last unit which was a different brand, this unit was very easy to install, and the ui is very easy to navigate and adjust on the heater. The one thing I highly recommend you do while installing is using a thread wrap for both the water lines and the propane line, make sure you use a propane grade Teflon wrap for the propane thread, that way the propane doesn’t eat away at the seal.

I ordered this heater and hooked it up, never turned on. I was leaving for a trip and had no time to mess around, so I called the number for technical assistance. No one answered the phone, I email left several messages, never got a call back or response. I had no choice but to rip it out, buy a good one (Renai) and install it, all done under stressful time constraints. It's a POS and their sevrvice is worse. Don't buy cheap is the moral of the story. My Renai is a dream unit but cost 4 times as much as this one. SUCKS! its still sitting in the box in my garage.

Bought 1st and 2nd generation water heaters didn't notice difference both are working flawlessly won't drain batteries when off grid. pressure sensitive water heater when using 15 amp generator well pump fluctuations makes heater turn off and on according to loss of pressure. No big deal got use to it
