The receiver has a built-in rechargeable battery (charged via USB) that provides hours of use per charge. The bodypack transmitter uses two standard AA batteries (included) Can I use multiple GMU-HSL100 systems together without interference? Yes. The GMU-HSL100 supports up to six wireless microphone systems operating simultaneously without interference. It has multiple selectable UHF channels, so you can easily find a clear frequency if needed Will the sound cut out if I'm moving around or far from the receiver? No. The GMU-HSL100 maintains a stable signal at distances beyond 50 meters, allowing you to move freely without dropouts. It also uses an advanced compression circuit to reject unwanted noise and keep the audio clear Does this microphone filter out background noise or feedback? Yes. The GMU-HSL100 uses a cardioid dynamic microphone and an advanced compression circuit to reject unwanted noise. This design focuses on your voice and minimizes ambient noise or feedback during use. What does "cardioid pattern" mean and why does it matter? Cardioid pattern captures sound from the front while rejecting noise from sides and rear. This reduces background noise, room echo, and feedback, ensuring your voice stays clear in noisy environments like gyms, classrooms, or outdoor events. How far can I move from the receiver? The system provides stable transmission beyond 50 meters (164+ feet) in open spaces. Indoor range varies based on walls and obstacles but typically exceeds 30-40 meters. Perfect for stage performances, classrooms, outdoor events, and fitness classes. How long does the battery last? Receiver: ~5 hours continuous use, 2-hour charge time. Bodypack transmitter (2 AA batteries): ~4 hours continuous use. Both feature LED battery indicators so you can monitor power levels during use. Can I record with this microphone? Yes! Connect the receiver to an audio interface or mixer, then to your computer/recorder. Works with any DAW software (Logic, Pro Tools, Audacity, GarageBand, etc.) and streaming platforms (OBS, Streamlabs, Zoom, etc.) via compatible audio interface. What's included in the box?
