I tried some pricier units and didn't have the performance that these have. Right out of the box, plug and play! No connectivity issues whatsoever, was jammin' out all over the place, even took a stroll about 50 yards out from my studio and still had a great connection. At about 75 yards I did notice a slight delay but that's still an awesome range, more than enough for normal use. The receiver came charged and lasted for several hours, recharged in less than an hour and I haven't had to recharge it since with about 4 hours use. I am a musician, but got this specifically to be used for our wedding by the officiant. I also have a Gemini PA, and when I found this at such a good price (wireless is always quite a bit more expensive) I figured I would test it outt. The sound quality is actually really good considering it is such a small and low cost mic. Also being able to adjust the gain on the fly is very helpful. It takes some tuning on the PA EQ so it doesn’t have feedback, especially with the lanyard mic. This is because you need the gain pretty high as the mic is further away, which means you’re more susceptible to feedback. I found turning the treble way down helped fix the issue, at least when outside. I personally didn’t like the foam wind screens that come with it, and ended up getting some of the fluffy wind screens. The problem with the foam is when you have it on the lanyard, every time you move the foam rubs against your shirt and makes some unpleasant sounds, and the softer fluffy wind screens reduced that. If they changed to a softer foam it probably wouldn’t be an issue. ... show more

I use it for dancing clases. Often there is a very loud noise when connecting it to the speaker. Sometimes it doesn’t connect immediately. I always need to try different positions before the mic starts working. Require 2 batteries

Junk. Absolute junk. I can't walk more than FIFTEEN FEET AWAY under ANY conditions. I have put my computer into aitplane mode. How is this getting five star reviews? Changing channels doesn't do anything. Crap, crap, crap.
