Very loud. Decent bass, good clarity. Bluetooth connected within seconds. Out of the box and playing tunes in minutes. Im a musician and a sound snob. I’m always trying to find the best clarity and bass speaker out there. Die hard Bose guy. This speaker is not that. But what it is, is a value priced speaker that has many uses. I researched for over a week trying to decide what to get. Although wireless battery speakers are nice, I wanted one that plugs in so I never had to worry about charging. (I have other speakers for that purpose). This speaker will be used for live radio broadcast remotes, chilling in the backyard, and plugging my acoustic guitar and microphone in playing at small venues of parties. (Occasional karaoke of course at home with the family). I bought the 15” speaker. The size is what I expected, has wheels to roll. I wish it had a retractable handle like a suitcase, but lightweight enough to carry with the handles on the top and side. The built in FM radio is nice as well. I am novice DJ and these are an upgrade to the prior set of Gemini speakers I have. The Bluetooth feature adds to the library of music I can pull from and not miss a beat. The sound is tremendous and works well with my controller and wireless mic system. The only con is that it has wheels but no retractable handle for easier transport. I was hoping that with a powered, 15" speaker I would get bass as good as from my 10" subwoofer on my home system. But no. Not even close. The sound is really good, and it gets loud, but is very heavy with no wheels, and is required to be plugged-in to work. But the bass is disappointing.

Bought 2 units to use for Outdoor Movie Nights at my home. Looked forward to using Bluetooth pairing for Stereo sound. Would be great for a movie. Hooked up first speaker via bluetooth to my Mac Laptop and put on a Netflix Movie and it worked great. Then read extremely tiny set of directions to pair the other speaker. The "TYPE" is probably 1/32nd" tall letters. That pissed me off! So dumb.. Anyways, Tried to pair the second speaker and could not get it to pair. I spent a bad 2 hours or so trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Next day called Gemini and talked to a tech person and she said I was doing everything correctly. Found out the second speaker had a defective Bluetooth controller. Returned BOTH for a full credit. Very disappointed! One sounded great. Going to buy a different manufacturer. If I buy 2 and one is bad at the get go then I don't want them at all. Like buying a brand new car and the engine blows on day one.. You don't get it fixed, you return it! ... show more

I have used everything imaginable to get this speaker to sound good. EQ app on phone plus all settings on back and remote. Nothing makes this speaker sound good. The base is great however it's the tweeter that makes this speaker a bust - return - sell off. The top end is so harsh I can't take it any more. Selling these two units on FB and going for the JBL IRX that I know sounds great. ... show more
