I already owned a bag pretty similar. The only difference was the internal pockets on my other bag. I would imagine this bag would perform better because the internal mesh pockets on my other bag will burn. I own a lot of different battery packs and powerbanks. I've heard horror stories of batteries blowing up and catching fire. It is something that I have in the back of my mind when I go to work. I believe most issues are while charging the batteries, but still, storing them in an explosion proof bag gives me some peace of mind. It feels well made. The material is thick. It zippers and velcros closed. I can't say for sure how well it will do in an emergency because I haven't tried setting it on fire. I have seen videos of other people who have, and it held up very well. This gives me some faith in the bag. I hope if something does happen, the bag will do its job. For now, it at least makes me feel a little safer when I'm not home or sleeping. I like the shape of this battery storage bag. It holds my batteries perfectly and doesn't take up much space. It would also fit an E-bike battery. I got this second bag for charging my non name brand batteries. I recently decided to try some after maket batteris and only charge them in this bag. There is a small cutout for my charging cable. I would like more bags like this so my batteries aren't all in one. If something does happen, I may lose all of my battery packs. I also like that the material is waterproof. Sometimes, I like to go drive my RC cars in the mud or snow. I don't have to worry about my spare batteries getting wet. I will definitely be getting a couple more. I will be ordering a spare bag that will be strictly for testing. I would really like to test one of these and see how well they will react to an explosion and fire. When I do get a chance to test one of these, I will come back and update my review to let you know how well it worked.

Just so you know, bike might potentially come with parts that are just loose in the box, or not packaged properly. Seems like a great bike otherwise but just watch out for that.

I'll preface this by saying that lithium ion battery fires are not that common. If li-ion batteries were blowing up all the time then everyone reading this would have had at least once experience - between phones, gaming handhelds, laptops, tablets, e-readers, hearing aids, headphones, etc. What makes li-ion fires scary is how fast they happen, how hot they burn and how hard they are to put out - and PEVs use big batteries. You can help mitigate your chances of catastrophe by buying reputable brands like Samsung or LG. For the cheaper Chinese brands I'd recommend making sure the battery is removable, and buy something like this. I got this for my Amyet S8 E-Bike, it came equipped with a Hailong 48v 25ah removable battery. This case is plenty big enough for the battery, I could probable fit two in there fairly easily. Obviously I can't fully test this product without a fire happening but I'll tell you what I can see. It's sturdy. The zipper, straps, velco, and walls all feel solid. I'm not going to tear mine apart to verify the layers but it feels like there's aluminum in there. One of the best features is the ability to charge in the bag via a little door on the side. Most li-ion fires happen while charging due to improper or over charging, or from a fault within the battery/charger. This is when you want a fire bag the most. I still keep this by my garage door while charging and don't let it sit overnight or while I'm away. I also keep a the door lock clear and a fire poker near the bag. If it burst into flames I only expect the bag to buy me enough time to get the door open and drag the bag outside with the poker/hook. Also hoping it helps prevent damage to anything around it. Don't rely on this as your only fire prevention, make sure you have an extinguisher. But for this price you really aren't losing anything by adding some necessary protection for your family and property by purchasing this fire bag.

Really happy to grab this bag for my Jetson e-bike. I usually remove the battery during our cold, cold Winters so I can store it somewhere less harsh. I very much appreciate the idea of having some fire protection. Admittedly, I don't know how much heat or for what duration this is rated for given that I'm very certain that the velcro on the charging hole is going to melt well before the 2200*F claim. My Jetson battery fits nicely. I appreciate the velcro hold down for keeping the battery centrally located during transport. The charging hole which is secured by velcro does offer some amount of protection while charging. It's a nice feature, but probably a limiting factor in protection from fire, explosion, water intrusion, etc.

Great battery case to store and carry ebike batteries in. I actually have two in here which feels like it's almost too much, but it still zips and closes with the velcro flap. I don't worry about the batteries busting out either. And storing them in my house in these gives me peace of mind. Better than in the garage during the really hot days or really cold days.

The media could not be loaded. This bag seems just about right. The $20 price is fair and it is a good storage for my e-bike battery. It has a Velcro opening for charging if you choose to charge in the bag. I just wanted to store my bike’s battery during the winter months when the bike is not in use. I cannot comment on how well it protects against fire and explosion (and hope to never be able to). My battery fits, the bag is lined and has handles. Great for winter storage.
