Easy to setup, and it’s quiet, fast, and the size is perfect. I’m not sure about its gaming performance, but it has enough power to run a streaming media server without a glitch. Although not needed in my case, it has a good number of USB ports (A&C). One con is that the green disk status light is very bright, and having a green intermittent flash in a dark room was annoying. Putting a folded Post-it note over it helped; I can still see it, just not from across the room. Since my primary computer monitor is on a stand, attaching the Geekom to the back of the monitor using the VESA mount was brilliant - a very thoughtful feature, especially with a messy desk. I can use the same monitor, wireless mouse and keyboard for both machines now. ... show more

    • Exceeded My Expectations

I don't normally give five star reviews because there is always something that could be improved. However this Air 12 Mini PC exceeded my expectations in just about every category. It was very easy to set up. I screwed the provided backplate onto the monitor and hung the Mini on it. I connected the HDMI cable, power and sound cables. That's it. Upon powering up all that is left to do is go through Microsoft's account sign in nonsense. Updates really didn't take that long but definitely longer than would on a desktop with an ethernet connection. When I came back some time later it was ready to go. This computer is only for email, WEB browsing and light productivity which it does very well, no video editing or gaming. The one area I was initially disappointed with was printing. My network printer was discovered and installed okay but Windows by default uses very basic drivers that limit the types of documents you can print and is very slow. Most people will want to download the full install of native drivers for their printer. Once I did that everything was pretty snappy. I think if you realize that the Air Mini PC is basically a laptop computer in a small box you will not be disappointed in its performance. ... show more

    • Good little Home PC with low power consumption
Good performance for such a low power consumption PC. I really like the performance of home PC tasks on this unit running Windows 11. It is quiet (see caveat below) and does normal home PC tasks without bogging down. It has good connectivity with up to three monitors possible and plenty of USB ports. I use the wired ethernet port and its plenty fast, it also has Bluetooth and wireless networking but I don't use either of those. I would give it 5 stars except for a noise anomaly I encountered with it. If I used the included screws to mount it to the included VESA adapter then I started hearing a subtle high-pitched whine whenever the fan ran when either vertically or horizontally positioned. I messed around with it a bunch but the only way I found to eliminate the noise was to simply place it on a horizontal surface without fastening it down. Hence the loss of one star. The cooling is very good on this PC compared to nearly identical hardware on another brand I own with the same CPU/memory/SSD installed, running 8 to 10 degrees C cooler - probably due to the dual heat pipe setup. ... show more

I purchased a second GEEKOM Air12 Mini PC after having great success with the first one. Both have been excellent. Setup was simple, and performance has been fast and reliable. The compact build feels solid, runs quiet with good cooling, and supports multiple displays (which has worked well) along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth. Overall, it’s a dependable, efficient mini PC that delivers exactly as advertised. I wouldn’t use it as a main gaming computer but for utility work (I’m using them to drive some CNC machines) it has sufficient compute power to meet all my needs. ... show more
