I needed a new work system as I am a professional and work from home full-time. My Asus Laptop is almost eight years old and was not able to keep up with the secure connection from work and all of the large files I deal with. So my husband, who is a tech-hobbyist, ordered this Geekcom mini-pc for me. This is our first Geekom system, as my husband likes the BeeLink mini PCs. While getting the system set up for me, he would walk away and come back to it a little while later to find it off. At first, he attributed it to the power drop-offs that happen in our community. When he had the system ready, he switched it out with my old laptop, connected it to the battery back up, and started up Windows, which failed to launch. After spending an entire day attempting Restores, OS Repairs and even a clean OS install, it was apparent that we needed to involve Geekom as my husband believed the issue to be with the NVMe SSD, as he was able to run a copy of Windows from a Thumb Drive. Now, we purchased this system in early 2024, but due to our hectic schedules, didn't set it up until November. My husband contacted Geekom via email and explained the issue and his attempted repairs. They responded very quickly with a check list of additional things to try. Support is out of China, so expect once per day communication (including weekends). They realized quickly that my husband was an advanced user, so they even had him remove the NVMe SSD and try to start up from a different SSD, which he had already done. Geekom agreed that the NVMe SSD was the issue and offered to replace it with a comparable SSD from Amazon. My husband found three reliable manufacturers with comparable drives and submitted them for Geekom to choose from. Geekom even let my husband upgrade to a better SSD with us only paying the balance above the agreed-upon replacement price. Even though we received a pc with a bad SSD, Geekom was very quick to provide support and a replacement drive, even with our delay in setting the system up. Now the system works flawlessly. EDITED REVIEW -- My experience did not start off well but it ended well. A few things about their customer service -- it does take them some time to respond. The first outreach by me -- it took several days for them to respond. I am on EST and I would respond in the am and wouldn't get a response until sometime late night - after midnight my time. Their original responses to using their customer service link on their website didn't result in a quick response but as soon as I posted a one-star review -- I heard from them the next day. I will give them credit for paying attention. It took a few back and forth but they agreed to refund my entire purchase so all is good. We used it for a golf simulator -- it made it maybe 3 weeks and then started flashing gang signs and we were told to try to redo the Microsoft operating system - it turned out to be a total and utter piece of garbage.

The media could not be loaded. Astounding Speed (You need a wired keyboard and mouse) Since this tiny power house has no keyboard or mouse, you need wired input devices until you get the operating system running. After that, you will be amazed. The computer boots up in 6 seconds. The cpu is the latest and fastest Intel has. The video card can drive 4 monitors. Bluetooth and wi-fi use the latest versions.

I LOVED this miniPC for the first 44 days... screamin' fast and lots of ports! On the 45th day, I woke up to a completely dead PC (no lights on, nobody home). I contacted Geekom support via their chat app and was told they would send out a replacement immediately, and that I would get a confirmation email from Amazon within 24 hours... that was 4 days ago, and when I called their support phone number just now, I got a "there are no support agents to take your call, leave a message" response. I can no longer recommend this system (or this company.) UPDATE (10/25/24): Geekom issued a full refund yesterday upon receipt of my UPS tracking number proving that I had shipped the dead unit back to them. I realize that even brand new items can go bad, but I use this in a business (IT support) environment and can't afford to be without a primary computer for over a week. Had his been a home computer where I could just check email and surf the web on my phone while waiting for a replacement, it wouldn't have been a big deal. As I said in the inital paragraph, I was thrilled with getting so much power for such a small price, but due to the need for immediate tech support and product replacment in a crisis, I had to go with an HP mini PC (with about the same specs) for twice the price. It's possible this was a fluke and not the norm, but I couldn't take that chance again.
