I love this unit, operates at an amazing temperature, and yet AMD software says it's on the low end of the safe range. The size, lack of percentage noise, the less than 15 second boot, disk access is lightning due to SSD and the size and speed of the memory. I only have one dislike, and that's the AMD software that I loaded for purported gaming graphics mgmt. It won't go away. I close it and 30 min later there it is again, and there is a hit on performance and reliability since I have had several hangs with it running, that I otherwise could go days without any such issues. Great unit all things considered, power consumption is another great thing, lack of external heat, (only the cpu is at higher temps but not the room). I highly recommend this wonderful powerhouse, what a windows 11 pleasure. ... show more

Not a crazy gamer, I play a few old MMOs and the only even reasonably new game I play is Cyberpunk 2077. This is the best PC I've ever had for both game playing and my own creative uses. The fact that it is flexible in its usage and has a small footprint allows me with a job that has me moving around the U.S. and the world every 2 to 3 years to just wrap it in a beach towel, toss it in my suitcase, and bring it to the next destination, hooking it up to my hotel or partially furnished apartment's TV while waiting for my main monitor to arrive with the movers. I would've given this Geekom A7 mini PC a five star, but rather a four star due to a defective (cheap) HDMI cable. All worked flawlessly, but turning on A7 would Not wake the monitor up from standby mode like my old Acer tower PC does. A defective (cheap) HDMI cable that came with this $600 mini PC is the last theing I'd suspect. It's a shame that after wasting hours trying various possible solutions, my old gold-plated (high quality) HDMI cable solved the problem instantly! Purchased end of November 2024 it's a fast machine...when it works. Shows a network connection but when you go to log in message says no internet connection which means you can't get passed the login page. No idea when or if will get a response from GEEKOM. Just pass the date to return to Amazon. Update 3/21/24 Did receive a response from Geekom. They sent me a new computer after less than 48 hours it developed a similar problem in that I could not sign into Windows 11. They offered instructions to download a different version no luck with that. That should not be the users job that's the job of Geekom before shipping. They tried many other remedies but none worked. I'm not a computer technician and otherwise have no training in computers. I expect them to operate as they should. I will say that Karen from the Global Customer Service Center was more than helpful in trying to resolve the problems. It was just not to be and I did receive a full refund after returning both computers. ... show more

Just outside the return period, this computer will not start. I was watching YT videos one evening when the system made his buzzing sound then froze. That was odd and random, and I had no choice but to shut it down and restart. I pressed the power button, and nothing happened. I unplugged the computer and back in. Again, nothing happened. Now I have a very expensive paper weight on my desk. I hope the seller gets back to me. it worked well for the couple months I owned it but it's a brick now and it's an expensive one. My review is changed for this company. I've bumped the review to 4.5 stars. Amazon can't show the half but half for the failing system. Anyway, the points has to go to their customer service. They stepped up in unexpected ways. They replaced the failed system and I'm good again. ... show more
