I had my doubts! After all, I'm enough of a computer geek to know what I want from a system. I've had i5, i7, and i9 Desktops and Laptops, but this Geekom mini-PC is the fastest system I've ever owned. It is (very) small, quiet, and does not get hot, even when running intensive apps. NOTE: I'm not a gamer, and I don't run graphic-intensive games/apps. However, the apps I run that slow down and even sometimes freeze my i7 Dell desktop run very well and quickly on this Ryzen 7 mini-PC.     • This computer is dead and I've only owned it a few months **UPDATE**
Just outside the return period, this computer will not start. I was watching YT videos one evening when the system made his buzzing sound then froze. That was odd and random, and I had no choice but to shut it down and restart. I pressed the power button, and nothing happened. I unplugged the computer and back in. Again, nothing happened. Now I have a very expensive paper weight on my desk. I hope the seller gets back to me. it worked well for the couple months I owned it but it's a brick now and it's an expensive one. My review is changed for this company. I've bumped the review to 4.5 stars. Amazon can't show the half but half for the failing system. Anyway, the points has to go to their customer service. They stepped up in unexpected ways. They replaced the failed system and I'm good again. ... show more

    • Invisible and quiet!
I really like the uncluttered look of my work area. This computer has all the power of my bulky gaming computer and it's silent. I wish the headphone jack was on the back. I did need to add a USB hub to handle my peripherals.

All is good, for about 3-4 months. Then the computer completely crashes out of nowhere and won’t boot. Customer support instructed me to open the machine and remove the hard drive, mail it back. They sent me a new machine and now this one too after only 3-4 months has crashed too. Won’t boot at all. Not reliable whatsoever. So very frustrating. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYBODY THAT I CARE ABOUT!!!!! COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. Boot screen and none of the options work at all. I NEED my computer for work 24/7 availability and this has been a huge mistake. Costing me hundreds of dollars in losses by not working when it should be. ... show more

Not a crazy gamer, I play a few old MMOs and the only even reasonably new game I play is Cyberpunk 2077. This is the best PC I've ever had for both game playing and my own creative uses. The fact that it is flexible in its usage and has a small footprint allows me with a job that has me moving around the U.S. and the world every 2 to 3 years to just wrap it in a beach towel, toss it in my suitcase, and bring it to the next destination, hooking it up to my hotel or partially furnished apartment's TV while waiting for my main monitor to arrive with the movers.
