Description

The GEARWRENCH 120XP ratchets take access and speed to the next level, making it easier and quicker to complete jobs. The double stacked pawl design gives 120 positions providing a 3 degree ratcheting arc. All of the ratchets feature a low profile head and flush mounted on/off switch, allowing better access in tight spaces. The ratchets are a bright, full polish chrome to resist rust & corrosion and have an enclosed head design which allows for extreme resistance to dirt infiltration. Available in standard and extra-long length handles.

I got these at a great price and I've been loving the 1/4 ratchet. These are great ratchets for the money. I wish they made a shorter 3/8 120xp locking flex head.

I have these in the non-lock flex head 120xp version. I thought the non-flex was perfect but had issues when I had to put force at a certain angle and needed a locking flex head, so I ordered this ratchet set. Well, after googling the difference, it did not mention that there were some differences, which I didn't expect. The only thing different should have been the locking mechanism. For starters, the Gearwrench stamp on the long metal shaft is not there. The non-flex has fewer notches for angle but is noticeably more snug. This locking flex head has way too much slop when the locking mechanism is engaged, and there are more notches on the angle for the head to flex and smaller ones so I can see where the play is. I expected this 3/8 to be just as good as the non-locking of the same, but it fell short. There is definitely a quality issue here that needs to be fixed. They seem to have made different head molds for these, but they should be identical. ... show more

Always wanted to upgrade for a long handle locking flex head ratchet and these are just what i wanted. Butter smoothe and sturdy build, comfort grips are nice. Love the compact head as most ratchets i see are very bulky. Like them so much i put an order in for the 1/2" ratchet also.

If buying these as replacements, hold on to your old ratchets. They have lifetime warranty BUT, it took multiple attempts to get working ratchets. 1/4 had problems locking in place. 3/8 ratcheting mechanism fell apart. Once I got good ones they’re good. The flex lock doesn’t unlock accidentally hardly ever. 3/8 is my constant go to. Plenty long enough. The head is small so it fits into tight areas good. The1/4 isn’t my go to. I have a non-locking flex for that. The handles are comfortable but the huge gearwrench on it I wish wasn’t so loud. ... show more

The head is the smallest of any wrench in the shop. It ratchets so smooth and precise. The locking mechanism is genius there’s no way to bump it unlocked. If there’s a finer wrench out there I haven’t seen it yet. It is huge though so be aware of that.
