Description

The GEARWRENCH combination wrenches are durable tools for most jobs. They are made from alloy steel with either a full polish or satin finish that resists rust & corrosion. The off-corner loading design on both ends provides a stronger grip on fasteners, reduces fastener rounding, and delivers up to 25% more torque to the fasteners. Sizes are stamped on the beam for quick, easy, & permanent identification. The box end is offset 15° for increased access to fasteners. I have this and the ratcheting reversible Gearwrench set (SAE and Metric). I decided to replace my pieced together sets of odd Craftsman and Harbor Freight wrenches with something more uniform. I really like the ratcheting wrenches for tight spots. They are good quality and have a solid feel. They also look good and uniform in my tool box. The tray sits in my tool box and can easily be taken over to the project I am working on without dropping any wrenches. I have this, the 81902, and the ratcheting reversible Gearwrench sets sharing a drawer. All my wrenches get used often, and I decided to replace my pieced together sets of odd Craftsman, Walmart, and no-name brand wrenches with something more uniform. I really like the ratcheting reversible wrenches as well as my 1/2 and 3/8 drive ratchets from Gearwrench, so it was a no brainer to order these sets of combination wrenches. Good quality, solid feel, and not nearly as important... they look good. I like the length, and the polished finish is easy to keep clean, making these a great choice for someone looking for quality without the tool truck prices. ... show more

I have used these just a handfull of times in the last 2 weeks of getting them. They work just as you would expect, they have a great finish and come with a nice wrench holder. They lock into place perfect to hang on a wall or put into your tool chest. Definetly not ideal for carrying around or they will fall out. Great finish, feel like a nice combination wrench, havn't seen any problems even with my older brother jumping on them trying to break bolts loose... NOT RECOMMENDED!!! This being said quality, price I like them. I plan on purchasing more GearWrench in the future. ... show more

These are a great product. They cost a fraction of the cost of Snap On or any other brand with what appears to be the same or similur quality. They are made in China however. I'm not a professional mechanic and didn't feel the need to drop a grand on a set of wrenches. I've owned their wratcheting combo wrenches and wratcheting stubby wrenches for a couple of years and have been very impressed with the quaility. ... show more

I bought the GearWrench Racheting set (Metric and SAE) before I bought this and had nothing but positive outcome with them so I purchased this set as well. The wrenches are made of sound quailty and comes with a holder so can keep them organized or hang on the wall if you would like. Plus if all else fails, there is a lifetime warranty to fall back on. Don't really know how you would break a wrench, but the warranty is there for those creative people ... show more
