I’m very happy with this GEARit 4-gauge wire. The outer rubber jacket is thick and durable, so it doesn’t feel cheap or easy to damage. Even though the insulation is heavy-duty, the wire is still flexible enough to route through tight spots when doing installs. Copper clad aluminum works fine for the stereo installation I did for a Lexus RX-350. Just a simple 12” subwoofer install. However if this was a competition vehicle copper clad aluminum would not cut it. Good wire flexibility and looks nice. Shielding is plenty thick.

I haven’t worked with the wire yet but it seems durable and exactly what I need. I put a sleeve over it for added protection as I pull it through my vehicle. I’m using it to install a secondary battery and power a fridge in my truck.
