I have difficulty getting outside bulbs for lights around pool and house. The light fixtures need a certain neck type and these bulbs have it. I have to buy par 38 and have used other brands. These GE are overall fine. None of them last that long so I need to keep replacing them. Probably due to the fixture as it gets exposed to rain sometimes which I'm sure effects the longevity of the bulb. ... show more

Bought a set of these to use for chicks to keep them warm. The first one lasted about 2 months and the second one lasted 3 weeks. So much for working for a whole year! I was going to order more, but since this happened and the price has doubled I won't be buying them anymore. Poor quality.

The product is fine. The packaging for shipping is horrible. Three bulbs out of ten were broken. All do to poor packaging. Apparently this company does not understand that they are shipping glass.
