Let me first start out by saying for the most part there is a number of great things to say about this bike for its price. The hydraulic brakes work great and the 750-watt motor does a great job with hills. For the two months that I've had this bike, it's been for the most part a good e-bike. There are two issues with this bike which on their own are not good, but combined, resulted in a scare and damages moment for me. As a number of others have pointed out the cruise control on the bike, doesn't like to turn off, even after you start braking. I've learned the best way is to bump down the pedal-assist to zero to get it to turn off. The other issue is the rear fender. In my case, I was cursing down the road and the rear fender front mount broke and the tire pulled the fender under the back wheel, where it got jammed and turned into a metal ski on the asphalt. The back of the bike started sliding all over the place and I was left with only the front brake and my feet to guide the bike to a grassy area. Now the bike, which I've only owned for two months has no rear fender. ... show more

    • More bang for your buck!
I bought this item to save money not for exercise or the climate change B.S. My bike was well packaged and after charging the battery and the required adjustment/installations was just has described. My first ride at level 5 yielded 35 mph on the level verified by radar not the speedo which indicated 37.1mph . I do very little pedaling and average 25 miles a day and so far charging the battery every other night has worked well for me without over draining the battery. Running around my small town is saving time and money with fuel at over $5.60 as I write this I have saved $58.00 in six days ! The M4 is very well built and the only issue I encountered was a brake sensor error #25 which I was able to adjust and reset with minimal effort . I am six foot and 210lbs well passed 65 years and the bike accommodates me just great without issues other than getting on and off which is getting better as I use it . I have just over 100 miles on it and can't wait for the new seat I ordered while not bad the seat is less accommodating than I require . As to the power and hill climbing, off-road, and all that.... Hey it's a bicycle with a small electric motor a electric moped if you will. It works well to get around on and for me is worth every thing I paid for it! No license, insurances, minimum maintenance, no fuel, NO GOVERNMENT B.S. yep I like it. ... show more

    • Nice bike BUT
Actually I enjoy the bike immensely however there are three issues that I believe need to be addressed one of which needs addressed IMMEDIATELY! 1.) There should be an interlock on the “throttle” switch. If the bike is in a stopped position and on one of the 5 speeds, I’d bumped or applied, the bike will leap forward under power. So always return the speed down to “0” when stopped 2.) the manual supplied is very limited on providing knowledge or reference to the care and operation of the bike 3.) The specification in the Amazon ad are quite conflicting referencing two types of batteries; 12.8ah and 14.5ah batteries. This supposedly can run “60 miles in pure electric mode and 100 miles in power assisted mode”. The manual specifies 62 miles/74 miles (no distinction of why there is two values) in “Pedal Assist Mode 1”. This is only in speed mode one. The manual also species that in the Hand Throttle Mode, the bike has 31 miles/37 miles (at 12 mph). These figures are not in sync with what has been promoted in the ad!! ... show more

My back fender came off the second day. I feel like the front one will be next. Cheap material the bracket just broke out of no where….I had to tie down my shoe string to hold it up and get home very unsafety.. There’s need to be a better way to hook it up to the frame. For the money you spent that should not happen. It could mess up your bike or motor. It almost threw me to the front and had a accident….. ... show more

    • Cheap parts
This is an okay bike but beware brake handles are thin and cheap, One of the brake handle bent and broke way to easy. ( on day two ). Tires not puncher resistant as advertised got a flat when I ran over a common staple for stapling papers together ( like the ones used in an office ). I slide forward on saddle because the pole is strait up instead of at a slight angle like other bikes . Will update with any other issues that my occur. ... show more

    • Very comfortable and long battery range
It’s very comfortable with full suspension and fat tires. Plenty fast enough too. I ride 4th gear at pedal assist level 2, rode 20 miles with heart rate in 80s and only used 10% battery. Not bad!! There was an issue after unboxing where the controller came up with “code 25 break sensor fault” but that’s a simple adjustment on the brake handle switches…love this bike! ... show more
