It is very soft. It is not very thick. It runs small. I normally wear between a large and XL and I bought the XL to avoid it beeing too huggy. It is too tight. I haven't tried it with my shaperwear yet but I may be returning this dress. I'm disappointed.

While this dress is very attractive and fits well , the material is very thin. I expected a sweater dress and while it looks like one it is not warm and cozy but is as thin as a tee shirt. I didn't think I would need to wear a sweater with my sweater dress.

The style of this sweater dress is cute and works well for fall and winter looks. However, the material was much thinner than expected and very sheer. It felt lightweight and somewhat cheap compared to other ribbed knit dresses I’ve owned. Because of the sheerness, it would require layering to feel comfortable wearing it out.
