The loungers were delivered promptly. They were very well packed and I had no damage or quality issues at all. The seller even provides extra hardware (screws etc). It took me half an hour to unpack and assemble the first unit, slightly less for the second. I did it on my own although the instructions recommend two adults. As with all of these types of assembly, an electric drill with an Allen bit makes things a lot easier. Even so, I am 67 years of age and coped well enough on my own. As for the loungers themselves, they are very well made - solid, heavy and with a nice patina, although this will obviously turn to the usual grey of weathered tropical hardwood. I particularly like the sidearms which help when sitting in a more upright position and reading a book, or just relaxing. I am very happy with these loungers! ... show more

Beautiful chaise lounge..looks very high end and sturdy. I purchased one to determine if it was going to meet our needs and liked it so well that I purchased another. The wood is gorgeous. The back is adjustable. It does not come with the cushion, but the cushion is available for purchase separately. I chose to purchase cushions locally as I wanted a specific color. Although the price is awesome, the quality of the material will start to show very quickly. Cracks will appear and rough patches have cause splinters a couple of times.

    • Worst Pre-Fab Ever! Two Hours Later...
What a nightmare to assemble. Bolt/nut holes not drilled properly and misaligned. I finally gave up after getting just 4 of 8 bolts aligned to attach the left and right leg panel. When I attempted to align the other bolts/holes, the wood started to crack, so I left it alone. Just a matter of time before this lounger collapses due to lack of support. I am perfectly capable of assembling a product like this lounger -- however, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. Buyer beware. ... show more

I found this pretty easy to build alone (about 1 hour to build the first chaise, and maybe 45 minutes on the next because I had figured it out already), and they are great solid wood construction. Really gorgeous and sturdy and look great on my patio! Highly recommend.
