You do have to assemble yourself. It is totally cute and fits perfectly in the decor. The only think I dislike is the catcher. You have to screw it on and off in order to place it on the detergent. But I'll deal with it because this is definitely an adorable item. And it would be the perfect welcome home or wedding gift. And it is real wood lol.
