This watch is awesome and I do not even use all the feature, I just wanted something that counted my steps, and it does this pretty well and links to my phone and I can see history and data from this. I normally wear nicer dress watches but find myself wearing this more and more rather than just to the gym. This is absolutely the best that Casio has to offer. It is less bulky than all of their other G-Shock watches and the design makes it very comfortable on the wrist. The other thing I love about this watch is that the time hands are luminous at night, which is great if you don't want to keep turning on the side light all the time.     • The APP doesnt track correctly
The app showed I had walked thousands of steps even while I wasnt wearing the watch. I thought that maybe it was just tracking my steps via my phone, but It showed I had walked like 5000 steps when I was sick. Didn't happen.

    • Message notification is virtually useless
There is one universal icon for "notification" and it doesn't matter if it's for a phone call, text message or some random app that sends a message to your screen. It would be nice if the app had a way to disable all but calls and text but you will need to get the phone out to see anything. It's more of a "I'm near but frequently away from my phone and need a chime to know I missed something when away" as that's all you get. This is more for someone who wants to exercise, do laps and count steps while having the phone send to the app. The app has terrible reviews but I never had any issues (I did update the watch firmware when prompted along with updating the app itself. It worked 100% for me, never disconnected. But it gave me useless info and most of the time I was in the room with it and didn't need a chime (which is basic as heck but understandable to save battery life). I was looking for something nicer looking with a smaller screen so I wasn't charging it daily, hybrid phones seem to be the answer but this listing is very good at not getting specific on the "Bluetooth functionality". This is very hard to read, you'll usually use the light for anything other than the basic time and it's not very comfortable to hit for something you'll be hitting a lot. The app had an "auto light" function but enabled it seemed to do nothing. Regardless, the watch it's setup to do more than "notify" you that you have something on the phone. ... show more
