Took about 3-3.5 hours to assemble with minimal help from a second person to hold the upright poles steady while screwing in the sides. Directions were not difficult to follow, some of the metal brackets to attach the top were wider than expected, this may be why the other poster purchased longer screws. A simple fix was to place the screw in the bracket and tighten it until the metal pulled closer, then remove the screw and place the top piece in and screw it on after that. The awning side is exactly 6ft off the ground and opens up under the vaulted canopy. If you are 6ft+ you may have to duck slightly to enter the gazebo, but once in will have plenty of standing headroom. Product arrived in 5 business days after ordering, beating the estimated time by almost a week. Good product at this price point, wish there were other color options. ... show more

    • After one year, the roof is no longer useful after ice storm and spring storms

I placed the gazebo on my deck, that help make my deck a nice place to hangout. I added a netting to help keep out some flying insects. My biggest problem is with the roof that collapsed after a ice storm. We got it back up but after two storms with strong wind and rain, the roof again collapsed and canvas roofing is torn. I really wanted to like this gazebo, it was in a decent price range and I thought it would work well on my pool deck in place of the umbrellas. I have had it up a little over a week and it has already broke! The whole thing is very flimsy and the metal pieces were barely welded together causing them to snap. I would not order this product again. Do yourself a favor and get the a sturdier gazebo for a higher price! ... show more

This gazebo is very sturdy and well made. It was easy to assemble - 2 people for about 3 hours. The assembly instructions were very clear. We felt that some of the bolts were a bit short, so we picked up some longer ones at the hardware store. All of the holes lined up perfectly - no modifications were needed. Excellent for the price. And, of course you have to put it together! Not a deal breaker though. Once put together and anchored down to the ground, it's put up with harsh desert winds for 5 months now. Curtains are great for privacy. After two yrs the cloth is now destroyed.
