I think I still had my finger on the purchase button and the box landed in my office. Fantastic! The Gator ETX soft trifold took maybe 5 minutes to install, but then I was taking my time...It performs perfectly in the week that I've had it. It's been raining and snowing since I got it, and today I looked in my truck bed and it's as dry as a bone inside! I've seen review mentions of it flapping or moving during travel. There's minimal movement of the vinyl but not to the point I'm at all concerned that it would cause ware or issues. Clamps are great. I wish they had more metal, but they're holding just fine. I cut about 1/8th off the plastic bed rail plastic to ensure the clamps were hitting metal at the point they contact the bed, about 1 1/4 width cuts with a utility blade. I'm excited to load my bed this weekend for a 200 mile trip to the mountains for snowmobiling. My favorite thing about this choice is that it takes two or three minutes to remove folded up and place inside the bed along the side, or leave it at home, when needing to load the truck with something big. Super fast to put on and off, super fast to open, and lightening fast delivery. I'm all in, and at this price, are you kidding me! Digging the limited lifetime and 10 year tarp warranty also. I highly recommend this for someone looking for the beauty and functionality of a great bed cover with the lightening quick versatility of removing and installing and adjusting in the snap of a finger. ... show more

    • Good high quality folding soft tonneau cover.
I bought this Gator folding soft tonneau cover for my 2014 Ford F-150 SuperCrew pick up truck with the 6.5 foot bed (157 inch wheelbase) in late October 2018. I've been using it for two months now and so far I absolutely love it. The cover fits extremely well and so far I've had no issues with any water leakage. I've taken it on a 2000 mile road trip with heavy rain and snow and everything has stayed completely dry in the truck bed. It folds up super easy for loading and is quick & easy to take on and off. It also looks aesthetically pleasing, very clean. The unit is well made and I recommend it. When you install it for the first time, you need to notch the bottom of the plastic bedrail caps at the four clamp attachment points so the clamps contact the body metal. The instructions cover this and it took me literally a few minutes with a razor knife. Total initial install time was like 25 minutes. Now it only takes like 2 minutes to remove or reinstall it since the notch points help you line it up quickly. Great cover for the price, good job Gator. ... show more

I ordered this rollup bed cover for an upcoming trip from Houston to the Fla keys. It came quickly, and after I read the instructions twice, I installed it myself within 45 minutes. The only issue I had was the latch didn't catch to tighten down the cover. My bad as I didn't have the rear driver side rail up high enough and parallel to the bed as required. I loosened the back clamp, raised the rail a bit, tightened it and everything worked perfectly. The cover was tight, strong feeling and real nice looking. Very happy with the price, receipt time and easy install. I'll add to this review after I return from my Keys trip to report how the cover performed after driving at 75-80 mph to the southern tip of Florida. ... show more

Although I’ve driven a truck most of my life, this is my first bed cover, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. That said, I believe this to be the best bang for your buck. I’m sure you’ll get a higher quality cover from the more expensive brands, but for the money, this one’s great. It’s made in the USA, easy to install with basic tools, looks great and functions as expected. Only time will tell how the cover withstand the elements, but I’ll be happy if I can get 5 years out of it. ... show more

Easy to understand directions and all the hardware you need for installation. You just need a 1/2 inch and 9/16 inch socket wrench. A lot easier with two people. Fully covers the bed of the truck and seals along the side edge with heavy duty Velcro. Latches into a locking mechanism at the rear, and with the tailgate locked closed you cannot open the cover. I only have one issue. At the front of the bed the cover does not seal at the outside corners. I seem to have an open area of about one square inch on both sides at the front of the bed. Since this is an area that does not move, the front of the cover is bolted down, I think I can use a foam sealant to close up the gap. ... show more

This is the Gator ETX Rollup Tonneau cover. I installed it in 30 minutes. Installation was a snap. I have only had it on for 1 day, but very impressed. It is very tight and makes no noise while driving. The key is to make it tight as a drum before driving, and it will be quiet. It seems to have improved my fuel consumption by about 1 mpg. I also took my truck through the carwash. I checked inside the bed after the wash and found only 2 very small streams of water had made it inside at the front of the bed. Also, this cover looks super sleek and snaps into place firmly at the gate. Love it! ... show more
