This cover really worked well for me. It has a very clean and low profile fit and is very solid. Installation is definitely simple and easy as long as you keep everything square. Looks great, I’m very happy with it on my Sierra. 👍🏻👍🏻

Received the tonneau cover and one of the rails didn’t have the drain plug attachment on the end. Called Amazon and they wanted me to send back the entire package. No thanks. Gave me a partial refund instead. Going to attempt to contact Gator. Looks great and seals perfectly.

I rarely write a product review and felt compelled to write this review as I'm so impressed with the design and quality of this bed cover. It took less than an hour to install and it fit like a glove on my 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 with the pro tail gate. I've had other covers on my previous trucks and this one is superior in so many ways. It's constructed of all aluminum so it will out-last the soft cover ones. Looks great installed as it lays even with the bed top. Each section locks to the bed so that you can ride with the cover folded once, twice, or even with it fully open and resting against the cab (struts lock it in place so that you can actually ride with it fully open). The fact that you can fully open it to rest on the cab means that you will rarely have to fully remove it to access the full bed The quality of the cover is way superior to most of what is produced today. This cover will outlast any of the soft, non-metal top covers (and hard covers that have a non-metal overlay) where the stitching starts to decay rapidly. A little pricey but I’m happy. I wanted the low profile look and so I spent the extra money. Looks and operates perfectly. Very easy to install. Took me maybe 1 hour. Drove two hours away right after and had no issues. The only downside is the buckle towards the cab is not screwed down all the way and when I tried to tighten it seemed stripped. Pattern Name: Gator Recoil | Retractable Size: 5' 10" Bed
I've had this cover for about a year. Here is my summary. The Good: -The cover installs relatively simple. No need for special tools and was finished in an hour. -The black-painted aluminum panels appear to hold up well against the weather, are reasonably sturdy and secure the bed contents well. -Only minor water leaks around the tailgate, which will be discussed in the following section. -The aluminum blocks for mounting are pretty robust. The design and quality of fasteners is another story. The Bad: -The hardware package was missing a shim. Contacted the manufacturer - no response. -At highway speeds, the cover resonates and chatters in the wind. -The cover mounting mechanism relies on the bed's folded metal fins on the underside of the truck bed's edges for support. In the new Chevy Silverado, the bed fins are way too flexible and cause an inward tilt of the rails. Consequently, the cover drops in elevation into the bed a bit. After opening the tailgate with the cover in place, the tailgate will not close unless you "pop" the cover upward to create clearance. Then the cover will eventually cut into the tailgate top edge while driving. I contacted the manufacturer - no response. -The hardware includes plastic screws for use in the sturdy blocks. Needless to say, these screws are junk. -The "recoil" action of the cover does not automatically retract. It only "coils" up in a huge can near the bed of the truck when the cover is pushed to the open position. You have to manually push/pull the cover to the open/closed position. Slightly misleading in the product description. Overall - There are much better options for the price. If you want a product to damage your truck through a poor design, then by all means purchase this model. I would have returned the product if I was still within the return window. ... show more

The design is easy to install, looks sleek and great and keeps items secure in your bed and out of site. However, the cover is not 100% water resistant you will still have some leaks and water that will get inside. I put our bags on a couple 2x4s and then rolled out a tarp to protect from any drips, and the boards kept luggage from getting wet on bottom from drips. We spent 2 days driving in full torrential downpour and while water got in the cover stopped 95% of the rain, no issues and not tarp flopping and banging around. It was a good purchase and kept the look I wanted for the truck as opposed to a big bulky camper top. ... show more
