They are a sort of waxy feeling on the outer fabric, which is to be expected for the metallic nature, but still comfortable. They do have a tendency to ride up but not a big deal. Want them in a bunch of colors!

It was a lot smaller than expected. I used it for one night as a costume. The biggest complaint I would have is that the front is the same as the back. Normally a cut would be bigger in the back to accommodate a person's butt. This was the same for both sides so that was odd.
