I knew i was buying a reconditioned gateway (never had good luck with gateway even new) but the price was very goof... Unfortunately the laptop I received was not configured properly and despite my years of PC experience could not be recovered. Yeah... It was reconditioned, stuff happens, the world isn't perfect... I get it. Yes, it was inconvenient and irritating, but 100% perfection 100% of the time is just not reality - its what you do about it when things do go wrong. This company sent me a prepaid FedEx shipping label and gave me a full refund - I wasn't out anything except a little time and irritation and they did their best to keep that to the absolute minimum. So my review is Minus 1 star for the oopsie in QC but major kudos for customer service. ... show more

I got the computer in acceptable used condition. I had read the reviews and wasn't expecting it to be that good, but I needed something Cheap that I could get for the start of school until I could afford something better. The performance is good for doing school work. I haven't tried watching videos or gaming. The only bad thing is the battery. I can fully charge the battery and it will cut off on me after 15 minutes and not come back on without me putting it back on the charger. It takes a long time to charge. I can do it over night and in the morning it will be at 40%. ... show more

Doesn't have a rt or lf click on pad and my yahoo calendar will not sync. I had to update to windows 11 after setup.
