I bought this for my boyfriend to put in our cooler when we go camping. When we grab drinks at night while we sit by the campfire, it’s kind of a pain to have to take your phone out of your pocket and use the flashlight to grab a drink out of the freezing ice lol. This is a great idea. A motion controller low profile stick on light that casts the light down toward the cooler when the lid is open. The problems... The adhesive strip is useless. Hopefully you have some good double-sided adhesive tape on hand. The type of battery they went with is frustrating, they should have gone with a AAA, AAAA, or CR2032. The motion detection mechanism is a cylinder on-line with the batter that completes a circuit when the light is tilted past a certain angle. The problem is that if you are moving the cooler the light will be going on and off constantly, and if your cooler lid doesn't stop at a 90° angle when opened it will probably turn off unless you hold the lid in place. It just seems like one of those ideas that needs better execution. ... show more

I gave this to someone as a gift and they love it so I bought one for myself. The light itself is fantastic, but would not stay stuck to the cooler lid. I found it buried in ice and water and now it won’t work. Company should upgrade to a 3M product. If you’re buying this, just go ahead and use a different adhesive from the beginning. ... show more
