Shiny and professional look! Great for keeping the backyard gate closed. Can be used for various other things, such as hanging a backpack or plants outside. Carabiners are easy to open and close. Chain-link is sturdy enough to hold 50 lbs. The chain-links themselves are small, but the carabiners are able to latch onto them with ease.

Works well for our chain link fence. We have two 4' chain link gates that come together to open between our front yard and our back yard. We keep them shut unless we want to take the mower or pickup through from the front to the back. I like this chain because it is not big and clunky. The carabiners are easy to open. They are lightweight, but should hold up fine for my application because I don't open it daily. We latch the chain in the middle of the gates and it is secure enough to keep the dog in the backyard when it is latched. It is not a heavy-duty chain, but I don't need a heavy-duty chain.

I got this stainless steel gate chain to use for a hanging basket, and I have to say, it's been fantastic. The basket probably weighs around 30 pounds, but this chain has held it up without any issues for several weeks now. While there are a few welded spots, the overall construction looks very solid. I have total confidence in its strength, and it has no problem supporting the weight. One of my favorite things about this chain is how easy the two carabiner ends are to work with—they make it simple to attach or detach. The chain is exactly 20 inches long, just as described. Given how well it's held up and how sturdy it feels, I believe it's a great quality for the price. I would absolutely buy this again for another project, as it's strong enough that I can't imagine a small or medium-sized farm animal breaking it.

We’ve got two gates that open toward a creek. It doesn’t run all the time, but when it does, it runs fast. We also have two dogs who know exactly how to take advantage of the smallest gap. Add in visiting grandkids, and those gates have become a point of real concern. For a long time, we used bungee cords. They worked, but not for long. Heat wore them out in the summer. Snow and ice wore them out in winter. When one finally snapped without warning, I went looking for something better. This stainless steel chain did what I hoped. It wraps tight, clips fast, and doesn’t rust. The carabiners feel solid in my hand. There’s no key to lose and no lock to fiddle with. (BUT, it’s also nice to know that if we ever needed to, we could add a lock to the chain.) It takes just seconds to hook it in place, and it stays put. No slack. No signs of wear so far. I use one on each gate now. It gives me more confidence that the grandkids won’t get curious and open it, and that the dogs won’t nose their way through when no one’s looking. The metal is thick and the finish looks like it will hold up through all seasons. Bottom Line: This chain solved a safety problem we’d been living with for too long. I have not been using it long and the springs have already given out on the clamps. It said "long use" on the description and yet here we are barely a month later and it's given out already.

This chain is exactly what we needed. Our dog figured out how to lift the latch of our side gate. We use this chain to secure the gate. It’s been about a month since it’s been in use. The carabiner clips on both ends are still holding well. It’s easy to clip and unclip and, through the humid weather conditions, doesn’t show any signs of rusting. Definitely recommend!
