    • Solid, easy to install
These are solid hinges. Its not in the description but them material thickness (with coating) is 0.01", and the screws are actually lag bolts, 5/16" x 2.2". Tad bit long for putting into a 2x4 or 2x6 without pushing out the far side, but good if going into a post. I planned to mount 3 on my gate, but 2 are more than adequate, so I have 4 left over. Easy to mount if you have a drill and a driver. I do suggest pre-drilling the holes to prevent splits. They are good looking hinges, no complaints. I'd buy again if needed, but I still have plenty. ... show more

Everything is being made cheaper in quality. This is the only best deal I could find. Hopefully it works well for the gates being that 6 are provided instead of 4 for more stability.

    • Consider through-bolting the hinges (with a "backing" plate of 1x4) to make them super long lasting!
