I bought this because I have been to many seafood boils where there is a jet burner and it is so loud you cannot hold a conversation if you are standing nearby. Out of all the banjo burners I could find online, this had the highest PSI regulator hose, the most sturdy construction, four legs so I didn’t have to worry about tipping over, and an built in wind guard. I love that it can be used as both a gas cooker and a fire pit. I have only used it twice so far and both times I had the oxygen saturation on the highest setting to create a yellow flame. I placed a grill on top from my charcoal grill and was able to cook boudin and perfectly preheat chocolate on top of graham crackers while roasting marshmallows to make s’mores. I haven’t used it crawfish yet, but that is the next plan and when the regulator is turned way up it puts out a TON of heat and dispersed over a wide area and not a single point like a jet burner. I love it! The only drawback is that it’s big and doesn’t break down, so you’ll need a place to store it, plus it weighs close to 20 lbs. 11/3/2022 Update: Since writing this review I've used it as pot boiler for a couple crawfish boils. I didn't time it, but it felt like this brought an 80 gallon pot of water to a boil in half the time a jet burner would take. I received many compliments on both how quickly it heats and its quiet operation. Still loving it. The only thing I would like to see improved is the propane connection. I have to use a wrench to tighten the brass nut to the burner. It's a minor inconvenience, but something that could be hand-turned would make this perfect.

I liked the first one I got from Amazon last year so much that I just purchased another one. I'm going to use both for boiling down maple sap. Nice and simple. Built sturdy. Works just fine. Maple sap is no challenge for this burner. Plenty of flame and as you would expect for a burner this size, it goes through the propane.

This is a very good propane burner. However, it could use a couple of improvements. It's kind of hard to control the low temperature settings. The other more serious problem, is the square tubing supports that hold the pot. These need to be capped off. They transfer heat directly out from the burner and can easily melt things or set them on fire. If you are standing at one of the corners, you could easily burn your leg or set your pants on fire!

Updating my review since purchasing my Gas One. I have made brats, using a 17" skillet, taco soup using a 14-quart dutch oven, and burgers, hotdogs and chicken using a 14" griddle. There is nothing you can't use this for. Great stability, good fire. If like me and first time using a burner, food can cook quick so no need to burn at a high flame. Also, unsure why people are unable to keep the flame lit. I used it with a 10 mile an hour wind expecting the flame to go out. The guards around the burner allowed the flame to remain lit. This is the most functional cooking tool I will ever own. It's mobile and allows me to cook for a large group of friends and family. I can't emphasize how pleased I am with this product.
