  • [Peak Efficiency with Full DC Inverter Tech] This 12,400 BTU SACC(15000 BTU ASHRAE 128) portable air conditioner, suitable for cooling room up to 550 Sq.Ft., boasts a 13.0 CEER rating verified by DOE, representing the pinnacle of energy efficiency in its market. Since we dont inflate the BTU rating of our unit, its size may be larger compared to some other "mini" models that falsely advertise 15,000 BTU. Unit dimensions: 15.5" D 17.7" W 29.3" H please make sure your space can accommodate this true full-size 15,000 BTU unit (not a "mini" model with inflated specs)
  • [Dual-Hose Cooling] Unlike single-hose portable AC units for room that can cause negative pressure and hot air influx, our dual-hose system ensures rapid cooling and maintains balanced indoor pressure for faster, more efficient room temperature control (61F - 90F). If you're upgrading from a single-hose unit, you can expect a cooler, more comfortable summer
  • [Say Goodbye to Compressor Noise] Inverter Mode reduces the compressor's frequency to 50% load within 2 mins, lowering noise to about 45dB. This allows our Inverter AC to actively adjust compressor frequency for noise control, alongside traditional fan speed settings. You'll no longer have to endure the noise from compressor while you sleep
  • [Your Room doesnt Need the Same Cooling Power All the Time] During the day, when it's hotter, stronger cooling is needed, which consumes more energy. But at night, cooler temperatures mean less power is required. Inverter ACs adjust cooling power based on the room's needs: use Turbo mode for fast cooling during the day, and Inverter mode at night to save energy. Fixed-speed ACs run at full power all the time, wasting electricity, especially at night
  • [Night-Friendly Controls] Backlit remote for easy nighttime use, plus a Display Off feature that turns off the top panel lights for undisturbed sleep
  • [3-Year Quality Coverage] If you purchased our portable air conditioner based on a statement in our listing and feel it doesn't meet your expectations after use, you can directly contact Gasbye Support for a FULL REFUND or FREE REPLACEMENT. In addition, all replacement units we provide are BRAND NEW, not refurbished. You can trust Gasbyewe stand behind our products, and if you check customer reviews, you'll see our support team usually replies within 12 hours
  • Both the intake and exhaust hoses are 5.9" in diameter and 59" in length. If your window is higher and the hoses cant reach, we do not recommend using extension hoses, as they increase resistance to heat dissipation and may reduce the units cooling performance. A better solution is to place the AC unit on a small table or sturdy stand to raise its height
  • The package includes two 20-inch window brackets and one 10-inch window bracket. If your window is larger, dont worry. After receiving your portable AC, you can request additional window brackets for FREE
  • In most cases, portable ACs do not require manual drainage. But if the humidity is over 85% RH and the room isnt sealed, moisture from outside can continuously enter, which may exceed the units auto-evaporation capacity and require manual drainage. In such cases, unlike many portable ACs with drainage outlets at the bottom, our unit includes an additional drainage outlet positioned higher on the back, making the process much easier

Description

Dual hose systems are true air conditioners, capable of cooling an entire room. In contrast, single hose units create negative pressure indoors, causing hot outdoor air to be drawn in through door cracks and window gaps, making it feel like you're cooling with an open door or window. The real noise in Portable AC comes from the compressor, not the fan. With our Inverter Compressor, you'll barely hear the compressor's sound. But if you're very sensitive to noise, even an inverter portable AC might not be suitable. Split ACs, with compressor outside, offer better noise control. [3-Year Quality Coverage] If you chose our portable ac based on a statement in our listing and feel it doesn't meet your expectations after use, you can contact Gasbye Support for a FULL REFUN𝗗 or 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 REPLACEMENT. In addition, all replacement units we provide are BRAND NEW, not refurbished. Q1. What is the difference between dual-hose and single-hose portable air conditioners? A1. Single-hose units are a cost-cutting design and work more like a fan that blows cool air, only cooling the area directly in front of the unit. They create negative pressure indoors, drawing hot outdoor air in through door cracks and window gaps, making it feel like you're cooling with an open door or window. Dual-hose systems, with two separate air circulation pathways, are true air conditioners that can cool the entire room efficiently and are more energy-efficient. If you're upgrading from a single-hose unit, you can expect a cooler, more comfortable summer. Q2. What does "inverter" mean, and what are the advantages compared to non-inverter units? A2. Non-inverter units can only adjust fan speed, which changes fan noise but not the constant buzz of the compressor. At low fan speeds, the fan noise decreases, but the compressor noise becomes more noticeable and annoying. Inverter ACs let you lower both fan speed and compressor frequency, reducing both types of noise for a more comfortable experience. Another advantage of inverter ACs is that they are more energy-efficient. Your room doesn’t need the same cooling power all the time. During the day, when it’s hotter, you need stronger cooling — which uses more energy. But at night, when it’s cooler, less power is needed to stay comfortable. Inverter ACs let you manually adjust cooling power to match the room’s needs — use Turbo mode for fast cooling during the day, and Inverter mode at night to save energy. Fixed-speed ACs always run at full power, even when it’s not necessary — wasting electricity, especially at night. Q3. Does the Gasbye dual-hose inverter portable air conditioner require drainage in high humidity? A3. In most cases, portable ACs do not require manual drainage. But if the humidity is over 85% RH and the room isn’t sealed, moisture from outside can 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, which may exceed the unit’s auto-evaporation capacity and require manual drainage. In such cases, unlike many portable ACs with drainage outlets at the bottom, our unit includes an additional drainage outlet positioned higher on the back, making the process much easier. Q4. What do the 15,000 BTU (ASHRAE 128) and 12,400 BTU (SACC) ratings mean for the Gasbye Dual Hose Portable AC? A4. The cooling capacity of an air conditioner is influenced by the current temperature; the higher the temperature, the greater the challenge for the unit. ASHRAE 128 measures cooling capacity at 80°F, while SACC uses higher temperatures and stricter conditions, making it a more realistic measure of performance. Therefore, the SACC rating is usually lower but provides a more accurate assessment of the unit’s cooling efficiency in real-world conditions. Even for units rated at 15,000 BTU under ASHRAE 128, their SACC ratings can vary significantly. Since we don’t inflate the BTU rating of our unit, its size may be larger compared to some other "mini" models that falsely advertise 15,000 BTU. Its dimensions are 15.5" D x 17.7" W x 29.3" H Q5. How long are the window brackets included with the Gasbye portable AC? What if my window is longer? A5. The portable AC package includes two 20-inch window brackets and one 10-inch window bracket. If your window is larger, don’t worry. After receiving your portable AC, you can request additional window brackets for 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘.

  • Outstanding air conditioner!
Color: White-New
This dual hose air conditioner has performed exceptionally well since it was installed in our third story bedroom where temperatures soar in the summer. It easily keeps the temperature in our typical comfort range (~67 degrees Fahrenheit) and it has also been quite capable of cooling below our typical range when needed. The unit is exceptionally quiet on all fan speeds/compressor levels, the feature set is thoughful, the controls are intuitive and the remote control unit is very convenient too. The window panel installation was fairly uncomplicated but it did require some panel modifications in our application; it would have been nice if more panel lengths of varied size were included so that cutting of the provided panels may have been avoided. The overall build quality of this unit is exceptional. The unit is quite heavy but I would expect that from such a well built and quality unit. This is our first dual hose air conditioner and it completely outperforms our single hose models on all fronts e.g. build quality, noise, cooling and efficiency too. We will be purchasing another of these units for our living room to replace the single hose unit that is currently being used in that room. ... show more

  • Phoenix Summer Tested: This AC Saved My Job, My Dogs and My Life
Color: White-New
I write Amazon reviews fairly often, but they're usually for dog products, household items, or smaller purchases. I never thought I'd be writing a lengthy review about an air conditioner, but after the week I've had, this unit absolutely earned it. For context, I live in Phoenix. Last week was brutal, with temperatures hitting 110°F to 116°F several days in a row. My home office is a 14' x 22' enclosed sunroom that was added before I bought the house. There are no windows that open, only a sliding glass door, and my home's central AC doesn't extend into the room. I had been trying everything to make the space bearable. I owned a 7,000 BTU portable AC that never seemed strong enough and a 10,000 BTU unit that honestly never got particularly cold. During the worst of the heat wave, with two floor fans, two ceiling fans, and a portable AC running constantly, my office temperature was still sitting between 92°F and 95°F. My dogs and I were miserable. I work from home and had to keep retreating into the main house to cool off, drink water, and give the dogs breaks from the heat. I even tried an evaporative cooler, but we're currently in monsoon season. Phoenix humidity, which is normally around 2%, was running closer to 30%, making the evaporative cooler largely ineffective. After spending hours researching portable AC units and getting conflicting recommendations, one thing became clear: for a room this size, I needed a dual-hose unit and something over 12,000 BTU. That narrowed the field considerably. The Gasbye checked those boxes, had good reviews, and was significantly less expensive than some competing models, so I took a leap of faith. Amazon delivered it two days later. Unfortunately, it was dropped in my front yard about 10 feet from the door and one side of the box was a little crushed. Both of my adult sons somehow managed to walk right by it without offering assistance. Looking at a giant box labeled "Team Lift" due to it weighing 75 pounds (it's just 15 pounds less than me) while my office thermometer read 92.8°F, I decided it was time to channel my inner powerlifter. After a slow trip through the house, I finally got it into the office. I really appreciated the step-by-step unboxing instructions printed right on the top of the package. Everything unpacked easily until I had to lift the unit out of the Styrofoam base. That part was tough. After several failed attempts and one final determined lift, I finally got it free. The wheels on the bottom makes moving it about so much easier. Tip from me: Unbox it first and roll it where you need it to go and save your back. All the accessories were neatly packed inside one of the hoses. The hose outlet openings themselves are much larger than those on my previous portable AC, and yes, there are two of them. After experiencing the difference, I don't think I'd ever buy a single-hose unit again. The exit definitely blows out really hot air. The intake was significantly cooler. This makes such a difference in how quickly things can cool down. The included window kit doesn't work with sliding doors, but I was able to route both hoses through an old doggie door (9 x 14 inch opening for those who really want to know) with a little creativity and some padding around the openings. Sliding door accessories may need to be modified to accommodate this size. Necessity (or desperation) is the mother of invention. Plea to Gasbye: Make a sliding door insert please! Then came the moment of truth. Within about five minutes, I noticed the air coming out was significantly colder than either of my previous units. After two hours, the room temperature had already dropped a couple of degrees. Four hours later, my office had gone from 95°F down to 84°F. It was not me being wishful (or delusional and heat exhausted), I had proof on my thermostat. That may not sound impressive to someone living in a milder climate, but if you've ever tried cooling a poorly insulated Arizona sunroom during a 110°+ heat wave, you know that's an incredible improvement. I started in Turbo mode, switched to High, and was surprised by how much quieter it was than my old portable AC. Later that evening, I switched to Inverter mode and set the temperature to 76°F before bed. Several hours later, I came downstairs and the room was actually chilly. I ended up increasing the temperature setting, turning off both floor fans, and leaving it in Inverter mode. For the first time all summer, my office felt comfortable. The biggest surprise was the noise level. Even though this unit is substantially more powerful, it's noticeably quieter than the older portable ACs I've owned. During my calls the noise suppression notices no longer popped up. The impact on my daily life was immediate. I'm more productive because I'm no longer taking constant cooling breaks. The dogs are happier, less cranky, and actually want to spend time in the office with me again. This wasn't a planned purchase. It certainly wasn't one I wanted to make. But after just 24 hours, the value has already been undeniable. If you live in a place with extreme heat and you're trying to cool a difficult space, especially if you're currently using an undersized single-hose unit, I would absolutely recommend taking a serious look at this model. I'll update this review in a few months once I can compare electric bills. My old setup involved a portable AC running nonstop plus multiple floor fans. I no longer need the floor fans, though I still run my ceiling fans to help circulate air. For now, all I know is this: a day ago my office was 95°F and my dogs and I were suffering. Today we're comfortable. That's a five-star result in my book. ... show more

  • PERFORMED BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS
Color: White-New
The Gasbye CoolPrime 12000 has performed extremely well for us -we have a 1500 square foot ranch with an open floor plan and recently with an outside temperature over 90 degrees and a "tropical" dewpoint of 72 it kept the living room, dining room, guest bedroom (with the door left open) and kitchen at a cool 73 degrees with low indoor humidity -the Gasbye CoolPrime 12000 maintained this without having to resort to the higher operating settings -and it made almost no noise (we forgot it was even running) -also it was so easy to install -we did it in 10 minutes -I should mention at this time that last year we purchased the Gasbye CoolPrime 10000 to cool the large master bedroom along with the included full master bathroom and 2 closets and it easily did the job -and the small bump to the electric bill was a bonus! -Consider the added features like the inverter, turbo and timer settings along with the large screen illuminated remote control and you've got a real winner! ... show more

  • Powerful air conditioner
Color: White-New
This works as promised. It blows very cold air and is fairly quiet. I had a much smaller unit that was noisier and didn’t make a dent in the heat in my sunroom in Florida. This is one of the strongest unit can get and with a 3 year warranty as well. The owners appear to be very customer service driven. As with any portable air conditioner, I would strongly suggest an insulated sleeve for the exhaust hose. ... show more

Color: White-New
Five cheers! Works beauitifully. I wanted a dual hose machine to expel hot air from the bedroom and was willing to pay more to get it. The temperature is even and the room is less dusty than before. I bought a unit with higher BTU than was required and leave the hallway door open to cool adjoining space. The inverter keeps it very quiet. The unit has been running for about a month now, and I highly recommend it. ... show more
