The Gasbye was the only portable AC that I could find with great reviews, that had a one yr warranty with the option for an extra two years for free. That’s a total of 3 years of warranty for free. That tells you that Gasbye stands behind their quality product. I saved the best for last, and that is Gasbye’s customer service. Customer Service is everything when it comes to a product. Gasbye has the best customer service that I have ever experienced. Amy with Gasbye is incredible. She went above and beyond in making sure I received my AC and was happy with it. In today’s world, the professional way that Amy helped me is rare. She and Gasbye truly care about their customers. I have used portable A/C units, other brands for many years. The single hose units, which are less efficient. This time I decided to try the dual hose units. This 15000 btu Gasbye is very quiet compared to the single hose units. The DC inverter offers this quietness along with the high seer rating which gives the unit the efficiency. Plus the dual hose does not pull a vacuum on your house like the single hose units. I will never buy a single hose unit again after owning one of these. Gasbye also offers 2 extra years on their warranty at no cost, all you have to do is register the unit with Gasbye. Other brands make you purchase the extra warranty. I purchased this unit when Amazon had it on sale, after using it for a week or two I decided to purchase another one but of course it was not on sale anymore. I reached out to Amy Gasbye, she was my contact when I registered the unit for the extra warranty. I asked her If she could help me out with the same price that I played for the first unit and she did. Time will tell how long this unit will last, for now I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Also I wanted to add that Amy Gasbye got back to me very promptly and was great to work with.

The Gasbye CoolPrime 12000 has performed extremely well for us -we have a 1500 square foot ranch with an open floor plan and recently with an outside temperature over 90 degrees and a "tropical" dewpoint of 72 it kept the living room, dining room, guest bedroom (with the door left open) and kitchen at a cool 73 degrees with low indoor humidity -the Gasbye CoolPrime 12000 maintained this without having to resort to the higher operating settings -and it made almost no noise (we forgot it was even running) -also it was so easy to install -we did it in 10 minutes -I should mention at this time that last year we purchased the Gasbye CoolPrime 10000 to cool the large master bedroom along with the included full master bathroom and 2 closets and it easily did the job -and the small bump to the electric bill was a bonus! -Consider the added features like the inverter, turbo and timer settings along with the large screen illuminated remote control and you've got a real winner!

Don’t waste your money. This air conditioner is so problematic. The fan stops working when it’s in cool mode. It’s loud and noisy and sounds like there are loose parts rattling around and impeding the flow of air. I’m trying to return it.

Seems like a well-built unit with an outstanding warranty by the manufacturer. We added this unit to our fifth wheel camper for extra cooling capacity on extremely hot days and yes, it helps a lot! At night it was the only unit we needed to run, and it was pleasantly quiet as well, providing just enough background noise to block out other sounds. I am happy with the unit at this point and let's hope that it holds up well and that the manufacturer stands by their warranty should anything happen to it. I will update you in the future.

Super simple and easy install. Did it all myself in 10 minutes and everything needed to seal the window comes in the box. I’ve only just set this unit up but it’s already cooled my large open concept kitchen / living room / office space. I’m in NY and looking forward to the humidity control that comes with the dual tubes. Already better than any window unit I’ve owned.
