Our electric snow blower died, and it was never quite enough for West Michigan snow anyway, so we got this one. I was a little bit worried about it not being in a well-known brand, but it was easy to assemble, and it worked perfectly all season. Always started on the first pull. Never had any issues with it. Cleared snow very well. I will say that the headlights are a joke. They run on some AAA batteries or something. They don't illuminate anything, maybe they make it easier to see for an oncoming vehicle or something? Anyway I had good luck with it so I recommend it. ... show more

I"m very happy with this snow blower ,We had 2 major snow storms this year and it powdered through it.Easy to put together and operate.

    • Runs Great But...
Received the blower. Packaged very well and not difficult to put together. Instructions could have been larger with diagrams very small. After put together lights did not work and tool could not be hung fro a bar because wrong tool was sent. Never was able to get a phone call with Amerisun. E-mail worked but it was determined that they could do nothing for me so I should contact Amazon. Which I did. Amazon would get 6 stars out of 5. They were GREAT. All is well now. Blower works great. One comment. If you are cleaning a smooth driveway the skid plates should not be put on. With the skid plated up as far as they will go a thin layer of snow remains. Amazon gets 6 stars, the t blower's operation gets 5 stars, but Amerisun 1 star. ... show more

What I don’t like: 1) stupid LED lights with AAA battery box. Get rid of the light and use more metal parts instead. 2) squarish tires that make the machine hard to steer. 3) lousy plastic parts, especially the chute and detention mechanism for the chute angle and wheel speed controls. 4) no kill toggle switch. Need to pull the plastic key to shut machine off. Assembly wasn’t too bad. Need to turn chute first before installing else it’s jammed. Had to take apart and reseat the chute detent as it was installed incorrectly. I’m concerned that those cheap plastic detents won’t last in upstate N.Y. cold weather. Same for the plastic chute. Did start on the 2nd pull though. ... show more

    • Easy to Assemble and Does the Job
The snow blower arrived via UPS and I unboxed, assembled and was clearing snow in under 45 minutes. The reason the assembly took a bit longer was I did not understand the handle bar and cable attachment process and had to install, uninstall and connect the cables, and then reinstall the handle bars. The second thing I did wrong was to have the chute not facing forward. That too I had to install, uninstall and reinstall. The instructions are not very good but you can look at the figures and diagrams and get the general idea. Things to watch out for: The oil - use a funnel and pour VERY SLOWLY because it will overflow before going down the tube. Connect the cables before installing the handle bar. Face the chute forward before installing. Go over all of the bolts, even the ones you did not install, to make sure they are tight. ... show more

Biggest piece of garbage money can buy. Plastic chute completely broke and flew off during the first use. Contacted both Amerisun and Amazon, and they refused to send any parts or make this right. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

    • Remember to warm up the engine and return choke to off
I bought mine at the end of the season when the price was discounted but the blower works great. It has electric start but I don't even need it. One or two cranks when following the instructions and it starts right up
