Biggest piece of garbage money can buy. Plastic chute completely broke and flew off during the first use. Contacted both Amerisun and Amazon, and they refused to send any parts or make this right. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Getting very needed use out of this. Originally showed up with alittle shipping damage, but nothing I couldn’t fix. Adjustable throw snout has stopped working, engine works great, all in all for the price; very worth it over shoveling

The weld broke on the chute elevation system. It's the right handle which now does not work. I did purchase an extended warranty which was great! I can still use the blower but need to manually move the chute flap up and down myself.

The snow blower arrived via UPS and I unboxed, assembled and was clearing snow in under 45 minutes. The reason the assembly took a bit longer was I did not understand the handle bar and cable attachment process and had to install, uninstall and connect the cables, and then reinstall the handle bars. The second thing I did wrong was to have the chute not facing forward. That too I had to install, uninstall and reinstall. The instructions are not very good but you can look at the figures and diagrams and get the general idea. Things to watch out for: The oil - use a funnel and pour VERY SLOWLY because it will overflow before going down the tube. Connect the cables before installing the handle bar. Face the chute forward before installing. Go over all of the bolts, even the ones you did not install, to make sure they are tight.

Overall, an "ok" snow blower. Sturdy body design with a steel box and auger. The chute is easily adjustable. The only concern is the ratcheting mechanism that holds the chute in position once you change its direction stopped working after the second time using the blower. The chute won't hold position when the direction is set and moves back to center on its own. This is probably a poor design, poor materials or just a defective device. The fact the chute broke on the second day of use, and not heavy use either (45 minutes each day) means this is not a high quality item.
