Ordered at 2:30 pm and received it at 9:30 am the next morning. It took all of 5 minutes to assemble and put in the 13.5 oz of break in oil. Which came with the mower. Filled gas tank. Primed carb with 3 pushes and second rope pull start up. Self propelled is just the right speed for 70 year old healthy senior man. Seems like gas lasts longer on this mower than the one it replaced and I got done mowing alot faster. I am really pleased with this mower. I highly recommend this 170cc Amerisun mower.

The Height adjuster, is 1 thru 6, 6 as the highest. The lever doesn't stay in the 6th groove at all, it keeps coming out and going into the 5 slot. If you put in the 5th slot, it will eventually come out and go to the 4 slot. Horrible if your picky about your lawn. You wont realize, and now be mowing at a shorter height compared to the previous, slot, higher. Horrible!! Buy a reputable mower brand. Prices are not a whole lot different. Rear wheel plastic flap, just fell off, tabs holding in place, broke off. Do not purchase lawn mower from AMAZON, there non returnable!! Update: June 20, 2025 :: after 6 uses, the engine must have cracked, and now oil leaking into gas, Prime it, pull rope, and blue smoke blows out, and stalls, engine oil blowing out muffler, and spark has oil in it. BAD!! Horrible!!

It worked right out of the box, is still hard to believe somebody will deliver a mower to your house. Comes complete with oil fired it right up and it worked like a champ. I use the side discharge because that works best for me.But you can collect it if you want with this more. The power assist wheels is something every man over sixty should have

This product was very easy to assemble. In order to start, I think I pulled the pull cord 3 or 4 times to get it started. I have attempted to use this mower maybe 5 times I have only been able to actually use it. Three, at this point, the pull cord is stuck and there is no information to help problem solved the issue. This is the absolute worst lawn mower purchase. I have ever made i know you see the red cover off. That's because all the screws work their way out. This purchase was made in June.

For the price of this mower it does what it's supposed to and then some! No it's not the strongest mower. No it's not the widest mower. But one easy lever to move to raise and lower the whole deck is a godsend. My grass was pretty high cuz I tried not to mow in May. But the grass got too high. And this went right through it. Yes it clogged. Grass wasn't all the way dry either. Gas tanks not as big as I would like, normally with my old mower I could do the whole yard in one tank. But overall I find this mower easy to use, easy to assemble and fill. If I was going to recommend a mower at a decent price this would be the one!

This mower was ok, it cuts well, but cheaply made! The rubber gaurd on the back fell off after mowing 5~6 times I can nor reattach because it hooked onto plastic… the screws to hold the handle on are plastic so as the you mow they loosen very easily and the handle can fall off, So I have to stop and tighten those all the time! Power is good not too heavy (all the plastic I guess) starts right up!

Not good quality. There is no throttle control so when you pull the handle back it jerks it forward and cannot be slowed down. It is very jerky and hard to control. It addition the tires do not grip well. I previously used a Honda self propelled mower which had none of these problems, but after several years, the clutch failed so I thought I'd try a less expensive model -- big mistake

First the mower came broken. Front wheels were broken, called to get replaced, was told this a non returnable item. Got refund now it will not start. Contacted amerisun and was told to return the mower Amazon says it not returnable. American says return it cause there is not a service center close to me, Amazon doesn't not want it back because of the gas and oil in the mower hazardous material and can't ship. Think about service before buying. I have a mower i can't start and can't get service. I will look for something I can get service for and a good name brand, these off brands are not worth the pain if something is not working, this mower is very cheaply made, after the front wheels being broken, mover will not start it had gas that was left in from someone before I got it, the gas had lacquered in the carburetor and had the float stuck, this mower as been hell from the opening of the box not worth it
