We built a gazebo with a outdoor kitchen attached. I wasn't planning on adding a cooktop until my wife made a stinky Mexican dish that filled the house for days. Even she complained after the second day. Since this cooktop was going to be outside I decided to go with a stovetop to could use propane. The hardest part of the install was having to cut the countertop and losing the extra space. I already had a gas line, I just had to add an extra outlet. After a while I did began to enjoy using it for certain BBQ sauce recipes that I wanted to try. The two things that I like about this cooktop is the grate system, That pot size really doesn't matter. Big or small they all fit. And the other is the center burner with the stir-fry ring. We have used this to cook many Asian dishes and fried rice. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice, well-built, great looking gas stovetop! It can be used with natural gas or LP gas, and has the conversion kit included. It produces nice, even flame and I love the level surface across the entire cook top! It is very well constructed, and should last a long time!

First off, I ran into some major issues with this range cooktop during installation: 1) The width of the cooktop is fine, it snuggly jams into my countertop space for it to reside. But the top side left a 1/2" crack. Though it's not really visible looking right at it from the vantage point due to the angle, it's still a bit annoying to know that there's a long slit there. I have to source out some rubber padding to cover that up later. Still looking for it after 3 weeks use. 2) The provided pressure regulator took some figuring out to finally understand that this isn't some knob controlled pressure regulator. It's only got 2 settings, I had to flip that regulator plate for LP or NG, which leads to my ultimate gripe against this cooktop. The lack of fuel flow adjustability leads to some real questionable doubts about its true output potential. The instruction manual says the final flame output can be adjusted through the little screw under the controller knob for each stove. But after installation, no matter how I make the adjustments the fire output is very puny in comparison to its predecessor it replaced. Though this cooktop boasts the power of double row flames, the low output really diminishes its real use. So pretty much the pressure regulator has got to be garbage, and that must be changed to some adjustable regulator for flow of fuel to be stronger. 3) Last issue I have against this item is all the accessories appear to be cheaply made and poorly accommodated. They simply supplied a PTFE pipe thread tape, but I hear from the pro's that those aren't good. Gotta use some dope paste which will seal and prevent leaks much better. After installation, starting it up was a breeze, though it does take some getting used-to to have the flame started for the cooktop. I'll say, even at double row flames, it still does take longer to heat up the stove to do the job. But once it's heated, I did find it heating a whole lot more evenly throughout the pot/pan and cooks the food with much more consistent burn throughout the contact points. Overall, I must say that the fuel pressure regulator is very sus, the cooktop appears to be very under-powered in terms of its fire output. The installation does take some figuring out, but not hard by any means. And lastly, the only real pro in a cooktop like this is the even heat distribution coming from such low flamery in double circular flame pattern. I do not recommend this unit as there are plenty of others with much better fuel flow controls. This unit appears to be very stiff; and going down the road, I do intend to keep using it until it gives up. But I do need to swap that pressure regulator out to an adjustable one and see if I can improve the flame throw output.
