I purchased this oven as a replacement for my old propane gas oven on my patio. However, it does not clearly specify whether it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The manual is confusing, stating on page 8 that the default setting is for natural gas, but on page 10, it mentions using a pressure regulator for propane gas as the default setting. I followed the instructions for propane use and attempted to connect my old reducing valve interface to the gas stove, but it didn't fit properly. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase a 3/8in x 1/2in coupling for $5 to make the connection work. One disadvantage is that the oven requires a power source for ignition. Eventually, I managed to light it up, and the ignitions work well, producing good flames with a blue light. I appreciate its luxurious appearance with easy-to-clean tempered glass and cool knobs made of stainless steel. If it hadn't taken me extra time to set it up and make a trip to Home Depot, I would have given it a 5-star rating. ... show more

I have a large kitchen with a wrap around counter and a large island. The counter has a gas range top installed which suits most of cooking. But sometimes we just need an extra burner or two for when we are cooking a large meal especially during the holidays. I thought about just keeping this cooktop portable and pulling it out whenever I needed it but because it is so nice looking I installed it into the island for additional cooking space and for keeping things warm. This saves on storage space and makes it immediately accessible. It is very easy to use and I get lots of compliments on how it looks. This works great and I think every canner needs one! It has made my life so much easier while canning. I had my husband create an outside rugged counter for this (and room next to it). Now I can can up tomatoes during the height of the growing season without heating the house up. This cooktop is also great for off the grid since you can use refillable propane that you can get at almost any store or gas station. I find this is super easy to use and clean. I have spent my life working with gas restaurant equipment. I can take just about anything apart, repair it, and put it back together. Therefore, since my kitchen restore/remodel is going to continue for many months, I am not going to set this up to review. I know more about a gas grill from looking at one than most people do from using them. So, to start, the price is slightly on the high side, though not by much, and the cooktop should be reviewed as such. It is a fairly well-engineered grill top with the main burner large enough to handle just about anything, while the smaller one can be used for smaller pots or frypans. Unfortunately, if an especially large pot or pan is centered on the large burner, it will overshadow the other burner which causes the grill to become a one burner cooktop. Furthermore, the knobs are a bit too close to the small burner, so care should be taken to avoid a burn. Those drawbacks must have been considered acceptable, as the cooktop was likely intended to be constructed with the overall size within certain parameters. But there are serious design flaws. Before selecting this, both issues should be considered, as well as the perimeter size of the unit. It is small, and can fit in a lot of places, which is normally going to be a good thing. It is also solid, attractive looking, and will last for a long time with proper maintenance. However, if you want two burners to handle two large pots at the same time, this is not the best choice for you. ... show more
