Amazing but the power bill went down compared to using fans. We only had fans in the home and my father had surgery and the doctors insisted we get A/C. Due to the expense of our central HVAC when it broke several years ago we never had it fixed. For the last three years of just having fans (and suffering with heat to save energy bill) this years energy bill with these units is actually gone down by 8%. I have to say, being my first install of a mini split, damn, this unit was packaged like it was going to war, I do NOT have anything negative to say about this unit! Garvee as I can see cares about their product and do everything to go above and beyond anyone's expectations! We have a 12x36 tiny home that I installed this in, Im not totally done insulating it yet but it sure beats running 2 5000 but window units! If you want Quality, we you got it, you want Affordabilty, we'll you got it! I did have to buy a Vaccuum pump but I'm not upset, I have maybe 2 or 3 more of these mini splits I need to install in other tiny homes we have! Garvee yeah, your awesome!!! ... show more

Mostly good so far. Been running in 10-30F temps and it’s putting out heat but not much when in that lower range - which is a little surprising because this unit is supposed to work down to -13F and the space is fully insulated as well. Outdoor unit is a bit noisy and vibrating compared to another mini split I’ve installed mounted on the exterior wall. App isn’t great. Thought I’d be able to add to Tuya but apparently it needs to go through another proprietary app which is a little lacking. The remote is a bit of a joke as you can only tell mode, fan speed, and temp so you really need the app to figure out if things like Health or Clean modes are running or not. Lineset insulation was much cheaper quality that expected. Hope the lack of heat output in low temps isn’t due to that. ... show more

This is a great addition when you can’t easily get a forced air and return system to the space. Air blows cold haven’t had it running in the colder months yet to see if the heat is efficient. A word of caution many contractors in my area won’t hook up a unit they didn’t sell, and can’t charge their markup fees. ... show more

They don’t open up to repair or clean and the filter is on top. To be honest they are cheaply made but then that’s why they are cheap. They are cooling well
