Easy to assemble although the instructions could be more specific. Pay close attention to the pictures. My husband and I love our bed and he loves how low to the ground it is. It looks nice and the color is great. Doesn’t make any noise and it’s sturdy.

Straight out of the box the laminate was peeling off of some of the base pieces. Additionally, some of the holes for the dowels required for assembly were not wide enough, so I needed to drill the holes out more. I was in a pinch and need to keep it as it arrived otherwise I likely would have requested a return and reorder. Edit: Customer service was kind and proactive, and reached out to find a solution. They also assured me they are increasing quality control checks to ensure others don’t have the same issue I had.
