Very compact unit. Runs beautifully. Well designed. Very quick. Usual Apple excellent quality. Need to get the increased gram as well as as an external hard drive, since the storage is really inadequate. The only downside is the poorly placed on off button underneath the unit. Powerhouse of a tiny machine. I got it for Art and Music/Video editing. And it is a dream come true. The storage capacity is a bit on the lower end, and any upgrade jumps the price significantly, but just get a decent SSD external, or a Dock that handles interior hard drives and your golden. I purchased the base model, so far so good. I'm not too sure if its because it's the base model or if its the buggy updates that apple has been throwing out but I have been having SOME laggy experiences here and there. Not all the time, maybe 3-4 times now this month. Most likely it's the software update glitches. This thing is really small, and was impressed by the size of it. Never thought I would have a full on PC on my desk. I do think it's a bummer that the power button was added on the bottom, not the worst but not the greatest either, especially since I like to shutdown my electronics. I think that the base model is a great fit if you're not looking at doing crazy amounts of work. I'm using it as an office PC and it handles well. If I'm ever in the need of more storage, it's really simple to connect an external storage. Fun fact, apps can be pushed to be downloaded onto external storages if they are greater than 1GB automatically. I do wish apple made these in different colors, a black one would look so much better than the silver one. ... show more

Apple products known for their design, look and feel, the Mac Mini M4 towed the line. A small powerhouse computer with all the features and functionality of a Mac computer. This unit is the best value for the money and for most computer users, 16 GB of ram and 256 SSD storage should exceed the needs of many. I prefer to keep the OS and applications separate from all my work files, so while some might say 256 isn't very big, adding additional SSD storage will cost far less than buying a Mac Mini with more internal storage. I’ve been using it for about a month, and I’m really impressed. It’s super fast — apps open instantly, and everything runs smoothly, even when I have a bunch of things going at once. The fan is whisper-quiet, and the little box barely takes up any space on my desk. It works perfectly with my iPhone and iPad — I can copy something on one device and paste it on another, share files instantly with AirDrop, and keep everything synced through iCloud. The overall experience feels seamless and very “Apple.” My only real complaint is the storage. The base 256GB SSD fills up quickly, especially if you store photos, videos, or big projects. I had to connect an external drive right away. It would’ve been great if Apple started with 512GB by default. Aside from that, I love this machine. It’s powerful, stable, and perfect for everyday use, photo editing, or even light gaming. Definitely recommend it if you want desktop-level performance without spending MacBook money. ... show more
