This bed frame seemed perfect but there was an issue with one side of the frame, the holes on the frame that attached the base were not drilled properly so you could not attach frame. We tried to fix the issue ourselves, but the way the bed was made it could not be changed. We emailed the company MULTIPLE times. SENT ALL THE INFORMATION THEY REQUESTED INCLUDING PICUTURES. They kept sending the same response that our issue was being looked into and could I send more information, bottom line the bed was made wrong and they didn't want to take responsibility.....this went on for almost 4 weeks and in the end, we returned the bed due to poor customer service. ... show more

The headboard is much shorter than expected based on photos. Check measurements. The slats don’t exactly reach all the way across in some places, so hopefully that’s not a problem.

    • Sturdy velvet bed frame with a tall comfy headboard
Replaced my old bed frame with this one and it has been a noticeable upgrade. Assembly took some time but it went together without major headaches, and once built the whole thing feels solid with no wobble or creak when you sit on the edge or shift around at night. The velvet upholstery is soft to brush against and looks just like the photos, with that deep matte finish rather than a cheap shiny sheen, and the black color is rich and even all the way around. The wingback headboard is tall enough to actually lean against comfortably when reading or watching something in bed, which a lot of frames don't get right. The wood slats hold a mattress without needing a box spring, which saved me money and a trip hauling one home. One thing worth knowing is that there isn't much clearance underneath for storage. If you need under bed bins for shoes or seasonal stuff you'd have to add risers, and that can throw off the balance and look of the frame. For someone not relying on under bed storage, it's a great pickup at this price point. ... show more
