We are very pleased with our Garvee mini splits. We got them on sale, installed them ourselves, and saved a lot of money. We have two, the 9000BTU/115v and 11500BTU/115v. There is a decent HowTo video on Youtube to help... drilling the hole in your wall is the hardest part -- if you're not afraid to drill a 2.5" hole in your exterior wall, you can do it yourself! Be sure to give the hole a slight downward angle, so that the condensed water can flow outside properly. The factory-supplied copper lines seem very well-made, we didn't have a problem with leaks at the flare-ends. The interior head/fan is very quiet. The exterior compressor/heat-exchanger is light (40 lbs?) but appears to be built pretty sturdy. Ours are installed under roof/overhangs, so they will never get very wet. Both units consume about 1400W when running on full-blast, but once the room reaches the set temperature the power consumption goes way down. We are currently using about half the electricity as we did using our old central AC, with better/more consistent cooling. We may never use our central AC again. ... show more

This appears to be a very good unit,easy to install,but acfreedom is the app to control unit with your phone will not even download to my phone.I think that app is a pick of(well you know what is next).
