Great little air conditioner! Once hooked up, it started blowing cold air within seconds. It is a bit loud, but probably not much more than the fans I had been using or a window mount unit would be. In my bedroom, I just run it for a half hour or so before bed and sleep comfortably all night. I love that it is easy to move. I can take it where it is needed. Rolls easily and while it is heavy, I was able to carry it up and down the stairs. Love the remote for making adjustments. Very happy with the product. ... show more

This item puts out very good air. I have been running it in a camper for a month and it works veey good. I like the wheels it has on the bottom. The only down side is how much hot air you have to vent. Its not a perfect fit in a camper window but it works.

Haven't been able to actually use it. According to the picture the window kit should fit a window as small as 17inches, which is exactly what I wanted. However, upon unboxing the unit I realized that the directions say a minimum of 65cm, which is about 25 inches and too big for my small window. This is disappointing and frustrating as I don't want to go through the hassle of sending the unit back (it's fairly big and heavy), so now I'll need to find a window kit that will fit this unit and my 17inch window. Picked this up for a small 8x10 bedroom that I turned into a game room. It does the job well but sometimes it will shut off then turn right back on. It does this a couple of times. By shutting off I mean the unit will run to the desired temp, stop running, then starts going again. The only direction you have for air flow out of the unit is up or down. There's no left or right adjustment. It does produce a decent amount of water. We have it draining into a bucket currently. One thing I noticed is the unit does not come with any kind of weather stripping. In my case, the housing for the large hose did not fit on the edge of the windo sill. So I had to install it into the sill. This made it so there was a small gap on the adjustable section of the bracket thing. Some weather stripping fixed the issue but I had to purchase it second hand. I liked the idea of portability so I could use it in the garage or my shed if I wanted to but in reality, I should have gone with a cheap window unit. This thing isn't exactly light and easy to carry around. It does have wheels but moving it up and down steps could be an issue. A small window AC unit would have been better in my case. Going a window ac route would free up space and I wouldn't have to worry about a hose and bucket. Already had my son know the hose out once so I drilled a hole in the bucket around the top to keep it in place. ... show more

Had a few hot muggy days shortly after receiving this unit. Never needed to run it on "Cool". The Dehumidifier setting apparently also adds cool air. Unlike typical real Dehumidifiers. Ran it for 3 days straight and never had to empty the condensate tank... so not sure if the Dehumidifier is actually removing moisture, or its just a lower air conditioning setting. I dunno. Bottom line is that it made the room comfortable. Haven't seen my electrical bill yet... lol Also, when in "Dehumid" setting there is no adjustment. It will just keep running until... until I dunno. It just keeps running. No idea what humidity level "it thinks" is low enough! ... show more
