I have been hunting for the perfect Hairspray for a few years now as the one that I always used was discontinued. I have fine dark hair but not wispy like cotton candy fine just normal average fine hair with a little bit of wave and many hairsprays have that climate control aspect which basically is just oil so the hair sprays don't stay long and they make my hair look and feel oily. This hairspray had a very light scent which was nice because of many are overpowering I was surprised that it held well almost all day the only downfall I find with it is at it sprays out in a thicker heavy spray and not always wher you want it and it does Not dry fast so you really need to let it dry before you spray more. .you have to let it dry before you put on multiple coats or it will make your hair flat and wet. but it stays all day and I can hold the sprayer farther away and probably will switch out the sprayer so I can get a finer lighter Mist but all in all I'm very happy with it and it was nice to find one under $20 that worked this well.. I will reorder and continue to use it.. ... show more

It serves its purpose well- it’s sufficient at holding the fly away hair down, it’s a little crunchy… but the part I am having the most difficulty getting past is the abnormal amount of FLAKY, WHITE CHUNKS, that resemble dandruff (no I do not have dandruff before using this product) and it’s only in the areas where I use the most sprays ie. the sides of my ponytail, and the hairline where my “baby hairs” are. When I brush my hair out after work there’s a “snowstorm” of dusty white particles that are limited to the areas I’ve used the hairspray. If it wasn’t for that issue- I would totally recommend this product. But I’m currently “tolerating” this bottle until I’ve used it all and can replace it with something better. I hope this isn’t a recurring issue and is limited to my experience alone.. ... show more

I didn't think I would like the non-aerosol, but this works great. I went to high school and college in the 80's so you know we used the hell out of hairspray. Plus I like that I can refill my smaller hairspray bottle I carry in my car. You can't refill aerosol.
